A scalp biopsy is very helpful to determine if it is indeed hormonal hair loss or not, we do this and it is very simple and low risk and not painful.
Ask your doctor for a scalp biopsy to determine the type of hair loss you have in order to fine tune the treatment. This is an easy procedure with little risk and quick turn around, and minimal scarring.
