Thank you for your question, and congratulations on losing the weight! As mentioned below, filler is typically used for changes in the face that result from fat atrophy due to aging and drooping of fat from the effects of gravity. Large amounts of weight loss can emulate these effects, so filler can definitely help. You should see a specialist in facial aesthetics and injections to go over what you are interested in addressing. Keep in mind that each syringe of filler contains only 1 mL of product, so you should expect primarily subtle changes with filler. Fat transfer can produce more dramatic changes, but is performed under anesthesia. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question, and let me start by saying you have a beautiful face. Everyone has asymmetries, and the reason you notice your asymmetries more when the camera is flipped is that when you usually see your face in the mirror, it is not reversed in the same way the selfie camera does it. Thus, you are getting a new perspective on your face when you use the selfie camera that is different from what you are used to seeing in the mirror. 

That being said, an in-person consultation can help you decide what treatment, if any, is right for you. Certainly you could augment the cheekbone on the right and fill in the temple area which will to subtly create more facial harmony. 


You have a nice chin, but depending on the profile view and contours, injecting here would be an option as well.

Ultimately, you need to see someone who specializes in facial aesthetics and injections to decide what would be best for you. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. I agree with the answers below - this is likely residually contracting muscle. If it has been more than 14 days (i.e. the Botox has fully kicked in then) then I would return to your injector to see if a touch-up is necessary. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. If this mark is where the needle was inserted, it is likely a tiny bruise. If the injection was at a different site, it may be a skin reaction or area of irritation. I would wait for it to go away on its own. If it gets worse, or persists more than several days after treatment, then return to your doctor and have him take a look. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. As mentioned in the answers below, it typically takes 3-4 months for the effects of Botox to resolve... but I hope that your symptoms will improve sooner than that as the surrounding unaffected facial muscles get used to compensating for the temporary change in muscle movement.
