I am writing this review to share a deeply concerning and distressing experience with Dr. Nitin J. Engineer, MD, FACS, following a procedure performed on July 29, 2024, which included BodyTite on the bilateral upper arms and FaceTite/AccuTite to the submentum and jowls. This surgery has left me visibly disfigured—both on my face and under my arms. Although I was initially told that full healing would take six months, I experienced a significant burn under one arm immediately after surgery. Dr. Engineer assured me this would resolve with time. It did not. From the beginning, my facial results appeared abnormal and distorted, leaving me looking disfigured. Despite completing ten sessions of professional aftercare with a certified post-operative therapist—who also concerned by the outcome—my appearance has not improved. Each follow-up visit with Dr. Engineer ended with the same dismissive reassurance: “It will heal.” In March 2025—eight months post-op—I returned to express my continued distress and dissatisfaction. Instead of addressing the complications, I was shocked to be quoted $16,000 to “correct” what I believe were complications caused by the original procedure. At a subsequent visit, I brought a trusted friend for support. During that appointment, Dr. Engineer altered photos of me to artificially enhance the appearance of results that did not exist. He claimed there was a “remarkable difference” and expressed pride in his work—despite the visible damage and my emotional distress. My friend calmly pointed out the burn on my arm and asked whether Dr. Engineer would feel confident showcasing this surgery on his website, if he was indeed proud of the result. He avoided answering. Although he initially said he would “fix everything,” by the end of that meeting on May 29, 2025, he became visibly uncomfortable and said, “I don’t feel comfortable even touching her.” He then asked what I wanted. I responded that I wanted a full refund, to which he agreed, saying: “I’ll give you your money back, and our hands will be washed of this.” Dr. Engineer brought in his office manager, Daniel, who said he would contact their attorney and follow up with me the next day. I have not heard from him since. I’ve placed multiple calls, and each time I’m told Daniel is facing a family emergency or some other delay. As of June 20, 2025, I have received no follow-up and no refund. This entire exchange—including the promise of a refund—was witnessed. Even on June 17, 2025, Daniel told me he had a scheduled call with their attorney at 1:00 PM and would contact me afterward. I never received a response.
