Thank you for your question. There is no good data to give a definitive answer on whether or not human growth hormone (HGH) is beneficial or detrimental if you have a history of basal cell carcinoma (BCC). Basal cell carcinoma is indeed slow growing but does continue to increase in size and depth with time if untreated or partially treated. More importantly, you are at higher risk for additional skin cancers (Basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma) if you have a history of BCC and should continue to have regular skin exams with your dermatologist. HGH is only known to be beneficial in individuals being treated by their doctor for a true deficiency. Otherwise, the benefit is questionable and there are other associated risks. My recommendation is to seek answers on whether your HGH treatment is right for you from a board-certified internist, family medicine doctor, or endocrinologist. Hope this helps.
