If your goals are to gain a fold on the left aide for better symmetry, I think it very reasonable and achievable. Many young patients undergo blepharoplasty for this reason. You will want to go to a Plastic Surgeon who is well trained to not just perform blepharoplasty, but who has trained in creating lid folds in patients born without them. I am not familiar with any non surgical procedures to do this. I hope this helps!

Garlic supplements on a regular basis are known to thin the blood. This is when taken in high amounts. If you only consumed a small amount of garlic sauce for a meal or two, it is unlikely this would affect your bleeding risk.

Great questions; Choosing the correct implant is very important to your result and can be confusing.

I like to think of the implant profile as a secondary decision, with the volume (how many cc's) as the most important decision. I typically will measure the patient's breast width (how wide each breast is) and how wide they can be on that particular patient's chest wall before having the implants touch in the middle (not what you want; this is called symmastia), or stick out too much on the side.

Once you know what width your chest wall can handle, there is a range of implant volumes (how many cc's) that can fit on your individual chest wall. I generally get patients to try on implants under a shirt in a bra or with a sizing kit, which can give you a good idea of the volume that you want.

If you want a small volume, then the implant needs to be LESS projected AKA lower profile (low or moderate profile)

If you want larger volume, then the implant needs to be MORE projected AKA higher profile (high or ultra high).

It is very likely that you would get a nice result with high profile and would not require the ultra high profile for the volume you decide on; I typically only use ultra high profiles in select cases as they can look very artificial and too projected in the wrong candidate.

Bottoming out can happen to anyone even after a perfect surgery; It is more likely however if the surgeon dissects in the wrong plane during surgery, so make sure to do your research and choose someone with experience and a good track record.

Choosing the correct implants for breast augmentation is one of the most important decisions in obtaining a result you are happy with.

It is always very hard to choose implant size without examining the patient in person for several reasons:
1. It is very helpful to look through pictures with the patient and really get a sense of their goals (natural look vs very full cleavage, etc)

2. The correct range of the size implants you can get is usually determined by how wide your chest is. Too big of implants will touch in the middle or stick out too far on the side. It's all about proportions. Your pictures look like you are petite and thin, so while a 600cc implant may look small on someone very tall and wide chested, it may look very big on somewhat with a smaller frame.

3. I use an implant sizing system that allows you to "wear your implant" before you choose it, and this is very helpful.

There is no study I am aware of and no personal cases I have experienced or heard of that show any harmful affects in patient or mother in patients who become pregnant after having breast implants.

There are three situations to consider before making this choice.

1. If you had some kind of issue with the implant during the pregnancy such as infection, treatment of this could theoretically have an impact on your baby. This is a very unlikely scenario.

2. Some studies, but not all, show that having breast implants can make it more difficult to successfully breast feed.

3. Statistically, your breasts will go through major changes with pregnancy, especially if you breast feed. This includes loss of volume and skin laxity after pregnancy. This will change the way your breast tissue sits around an implant, and often patients are better off waiting until after pregnancy to get breast implants because their surgeon can compensate for these changes post pregnancy with different techniques and implant sizes as needed to reach your goals.

I always counsel my patients that if they are getting pregnant soon (a plan to do so within a few years), best to wait. However, if you are not planning for 5 or more years or have no current plan, then totally appropriate to enjoy a nice result for several years and very low risks to any issues to mom and baby long term.
