I'm a fully accredited UK Plastic Surgeon (board certified, on the Specialist Register) who trained and qualified in London. I have an NHS Plastic and Reconstructive practice in King's College Hospital, London as well as a Private Cosmetic Surgery practice in Sloane Square and Central London.
After trying non-surgical rhinoplasty and still disliking the appearance of my nose, I decided to go ahead with rhinoplasty. I could not be happier with my decision! I had my first consultation at the end of November and my surgery was in January. I had the best experience from my very first consultation to my post op review. Naveen was very informative, and provided me with realistic expectations. I was very nervous prior to my surgery and felt reassured throughout the whole process. The staff at the Cadogan Clinic were amazing and I felt taken care of. My aftercare was also great with no bruising or pain. If you are considering a rhinoplasty, I would highly recommend Naveen. I feel so much more confident and happier since having my rhinoplasty. My results so far are even greater than what i envisioned. I wish i did this sooner, and would go through the process all over again.
6 weeks ago I had a breast augmentation with Mr Cavale after previously undergoing a Pectus carinatum surgery which left my chest uneven and bumpy in the centre. After my procedure with Mr Cavale the result has made me feel so much more confident and the implants have disguised my insecurities whilst still having such a natural outcome. I would highly recommend Mr Cavale to anyone who is thinking of having a breast augmentation.
I went to Naveen for my breast augmentation and I don’t have a single bad word to say about Naveen. He reassured me about any queries I had and was available to talk to from the start of the process to the very end. I would recommend all my friends to go to him.
I had a rhinoplasty with Mr Cavale and it was a great experience from start to finish. He’s professional, friendly and does not rush you during consultations. Unlike some surgeons, he also doesn’t charge you for each additional consultation you may want after the first. My only initial worth is that he seems to mainly due breast work but after an open dialogue about this, I felt completely reassured that he was a nose expert as well. The operation went well. The Cadogan Clinic staff and facilities were great. I felt very taken care of and safe. Post op, the only issue I had was with the painkillers which made me quite sick. But in terms of the results from my nose, I am extremely happy. Mr Cavale is one to under promise and over deliver!
Personal and empathetic surgeon (and I’ve see loads) and the results are amazing ! The breasts look very natural and exactly as I wanted them. Recovery went very well. Felt taken cared of and taken seriously throughout the whole process
From our first online consultation through surgery and aftercare Naveen made me feel so confident. His professional manor, clear expectations and well let’s face it magical hands have transformed by body. Highly recommend.
I have just been to my 6 week post op appointment with Mr Cavale. I had a septorhinoplasty and I really couldn’t be happier with the results. Mr Cavale made me feel so comfortable and at ease right from the word go. He is so Incredibly knowledgeable and gave me very realistic expectations. I would highly recommend Mr Cavale if you are interested in getting a rhinoplasty as you will not be disappointed. I couldn’t thank him enough for what he has done, it’s made me so much more confident and finally given me a nose that suits my face.
I visited Mr Cavale for a consultation in February 2020. I had a few consultations prior to meeting him . He was by far the most professional and kind. He explained everything in details the pros and cons and the procedure. He made me feel comfortable. He was completely honest. Prior to my surgery he put me at ease. Post surgery he visited my bedside and checked on my recovery. I was so scared and nervous. I had never had an operation before. My recovery at home was straight forward. My end result incredible. I had no breasts, in 36 years I had never had much confidence or felt womanly. My breasts are perfect for my size, beautifully done. I’ve never felt so good. Picking Naveen as my surgeon was the best decision I could have made. He knew exactly what I wanted and the size I needed. I am so grateful to him. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you !
Mr Cavale and his team have been nothing but brilliant throughout. At the booking stage, Mr Cavale’s secretary Emily gave me excellent advice and was very well informed, she deserves my sincerest gratitude. The procedure went very smoothly, I was placed under general anaesthesia and given the maximum possible care afterwards. The whole process was done with the highest standards from the very start. The facilities is second to none with the an added benefit being that the hospital is at the same site. I highly recommend Mr Cavale for anyone who is considering having an otoplasty, You can expect exceptional results.
I could not recommend Dr Cavale enough! From our first meet he was confident he could help with making my ears less prominent and that he did. I used to look in the mirror and all I would see were my ears, to others not so much however, I did this surgery for me. The process was seamless yet, Dr Cavale always made it very clear I could contact him if I had any questions or worries at any point (I didn't need to in the end). Confidence in someone that is altering part of your body is very important, I can not recommend enough and could no be happier with the results. I can tie my hair up and not give it a second thought that my ears are sticking out, it is painful the first week but that is the procedure not Dr Cavale's expertise. Couldn't be happier, thank you!
Large breasts are often inherited. The other thing to consider is that breasts grow and shrink duting various stages of life. They start growing at puberty. Typically this growth is complete by the age of 22-years. They grow further during pregnancy and breast feeding. After breast feeding has completed, the breasts shrink (and can often droop, unfortunately). They can shrink and droop further at menopause. Weight gain and loss can also increase and decrease the size of the breasts (a lot of the breast is made up of fat) Weigh gain/loss can follow a genetic pattern, so can your response to pregnancy and menopause, but in the main, weight gain and loss is due to an individuals diet and exercise habits. So, in a sense, yes, your genes can affect breast 're-growth' after reduction surgery, depending on which stage of life you are at. Thanks, and best wishes.
Hi there, sounds like you have been through a lot, and I hope things are settling. I don't think this will just be due to the sticky dressings. Skin necrosis is due to factors such as high tension on the sutures - this can be due to thigs like swelling, haematoma, fat necrosis, or tense closure at the time of surgery - difficult to tell what might have contributed in your case. If you are allergic to certain adhesive dressings (or sutures), as well as the above, this might have contributed, but from what I can see in your photos, it doesn't look like you showed typical features of allergy such as redness, rash, blisters. However, these perhaps were present, and not shown on your photos? All the best with your recovery.
Yes, you can very safely have a rhinoplasty as a professional sportsperson (including tennis). The main issue is with protecting the nose after surgery. I often break the bones and reset them to achieve the new shape. These bones will be very fragile for the first few weeks, so even a relatively light impact can re-break them. This is more of an issue with contact sports, so tennis is relatively safe in this respect. As for the tip re-drooping because of excess movement, I really don't think that is something to worry about. Movement can make the heavier parts of the body droop - this is why a sports bra is a good idea! The nose is not heavy enough to be affected by gravity in this way. Having said that, gravity eventually affects all parts of the body, even our faces, that is one of the sad facts of life!
A little difference between the nostrils is very common, and very normal. Differences can also be caused by trauma, which has resulted in deviation of the bone and outer cartilage, or perhaps because of septal deviation. Again, a little septal deviation can also be normal. If you are not sure, it is definitely worth seeing a board certified (GMC registered) plastic surgeon who can have a look and advise you what your options are.
Depending on how bad the deviation is, you might notice no symptoms, or you might have severe difficulty breathing through your nose on one or both sides. A mild deviation might not have any significant effect on breathing, there might be a very subtle difference in air entry from one side to the other - but keep in mind that a little difference is very normal, and it changes from one side to the other as the day goes along! A moderate deviation might block just one side and a more severe deviation might block both sides - here the septum can take on an 'S-shape' where the top of the S blocks one side and the bottom blocks the other. If the airway is narrowed bu a deviated septum, it then means that it is easier to get blocked up when you have a cold etc. Blockage can also lead to other symptoms such as snoring and difficulty sleeping, and even changes to the voice.
