Went to see Dr.Mohammedi not knowing exactly what I needed . I looked tired all the time and wanted to look rested and of course younger. Doctor listened and understood my needs and concerns. He gave me his recommendations , we did filler ,botox and PDO in couple of weeks separation. I’ve suffered with acne for a very long time. The fight against acne is tiring, stressful, embarrassing, and never ending. I tried everything. Facials, proactive, clean and clear, even antibiotics. Nothing worked… I watched my diet, and my hygiene and that didn’t work. Acne became very stressful. I do pageants. And I was so embarrassed to go on stage because I thought everyone would focus on my acne. I was scared of not wearing makeup because everyone would see my imperfections. I met Dr. Mohammedi at the age of 19. And I have to say that I am blessed to have met him and his staff. At first I was terrified of the treatment and didn’t have much faith in it. But after the first treatment gave me a lot of results. I couldn’t wait to go again. My face has cleared, my stress has cleared, and my confidence has increased. My makeup now looks smooth and amazing and I am no longer afraid to go out without makeup. I would 100% recommen the acne removal treatment and ance scar removal. Thank you so much for the Bloom Medical Staff and Dr.
I was very impressed with the service/staff at Bloom. It was my first time getting a microdermabrasion treatment and have heard that it may be painful and cause redness/irritation afterwards. Jennie at the front desk was very sweet and reassured me that Dr. Mohammedi would do a great job. She even checked in with me at the end of my appt to ask how everything went. Dr. Mohammedi was very thorough. He even took the time to review proper skin care regimens with me. My skin wasn't red or irritated after the treatment. I can already see a glow to my skin and I feel like my skin can "breathe" better.
My skin felt really rough and i had a lot of blackheads i just was not happy and felt like i needed a change or something to help my face, I came across Dr. Mo on Instagram and decided to give it a shot. I was lucky and got in on one of his party days where they have special offers. His staff was nice and very helpful. Doctor was friendly and funny, he recommended a microdermabrasion and a basic maintenance package witch consist of some biopelle products and sunblock. After my appointment my face felt smooth and looked refreshed. I was very pleased with my treatment and now will be coming monthly to keep maintained.
Hello. Thank you for your question. Is your acne hormonal is my first question? For example is it related to your menstrual cycle if you are female? Back acne can be treated with good glycolic wash if you have oily skin or sweat frequently to minimize the bacteria, oil, and debris production on the skin clogging up the pores. Acne treatment also depends on the type of acne you have. In most cases IPL laser treatments are very effective for acne. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) also known as a photofacial delivers high intensity broadband light that is non-ablative, which means it does not damage the surface of the skin. The intense light is delivered to deeper parts of the skin known as the dermis and leaves the superficial layers of the skin known as the epidermis untouched. It sterilizes the pore and helps eradicate the Propionibacterium acnes (bacteria that causes acne to turn red) also slows down the blood flow that supplies the sebaceous glands (which makes the oils which fills the acne with sebum), so you don't form any acne again. It also lightens any dark scars. Dr. Mo
Enlarged pores can be treated by several methods the simplest and most cost effective is by using microdermabrasion. Microderms will extract black and white heads from the base, clearing out the pores. Large pores can also be minimized with dermapen microneedling, fine holes are created stimulating collage productions to minimize the pores. Photofacials can help with redness and improve the tone of the skin but will not minimize the size of the pores. Large pores are a result of excessive production of oil and debris congesting the pores. In order to minimize pore size oil must be controlled using a chemical peels, microderms, good skin care products such as Skin Medica Retinol, AHA/BHA cleanser, etc.
Hello, microdermabrasions are supposed to open up any blocked pores and remove dead skin and sebum. It is common to have a breakout after microdermabrasions because the dermabrasion unblocked the pores and lets any remnants of debris continue surfacing up the skin after it was unclogged causing the breakout. I usually have my patients with severe breakouts return after 2 weeks for another treatment then every month to maintain.
Hello akriti123, To answer your question, Dermapen microneedling can help reduce the appearance of acne scars depending on the severity of the scarring and how aggressive the Dermapen treatment was. Dermapen microneedling works by breaking up fibrous tissue, disrupting the uneven scar tissue and stimulated collage to promote new tissue growth. We have seen this treatment reduce the appearance of severe acne scars in the form of ice pick or rolling type of scars in conjunction with the use of growth factors, however it will depend on how severe the scars are and how aggressive the treatments are. If your scars are deeper you may be a good candidate for sublative infrared/radiofrequency resurfacing such as the Matrix IR ,by interrupting the layers beneath the skin and not the top to stimuluate collage growth to fill in the scars. This procedure has not downtime. CO2 resurfacing, 2940 Erbium Yag may also be very good options for acne scarring. Hope that helps. Dr. Nasir Mohammedi
