Microneedling with PRP is one of the most effective treatments I have come across in my 10 years in aesthetic medicine. For acne and acne scars especially. I became a believer with my first male patient who did not have a single breakout for 4 months after one session. And another patient of mine, like you with scarring, redness and inflammation as a result of acne. One session did wonders. You will not regret doing it.
I have seen amazing results with PRP microneedling especially for acne and acne scars. It's best to perform at least 3 sessions for optimal results. I think PRP is the key ingredient, not just microneedling pen. It's the special ingredients in one's blood, namely the factors, stem cells, growth factors, and collagen boosters naturally found in blood that really works to restructure the scars and prevent new acne from forming. Can you send a photo with animated movement (look angry or frown). I would try once more with a firmer filler like radiesse and dysport at the same time. If not effective, surgical correction would be your only option.
From the picture, it appears the left upper side has marked swelling or product. Have you tried to massage the product a bit to see if it spreads? I suggest coming in for localized dissolving of the left side lumpiness. The top lip has more projection than I'd like to see, which may still be due to swelling. I'm sure by tomorrow, it will be even less. Definitely, don't dissolve all of it! Hope this helps, Yazdani, MD
