I travelled from west-africa to have the procedure done in istanbul, Turkey. I booked my surgery through flyheath which is a medical tourism company. I met Dr Mustafa same morning ot the surgery. We went over my expectations and the best possibilities for me. A few hours later,i was rolled into the theatre where my new boobs were cooked lol. God being soo good,i had great after care treatment by the entire staff and was discharged a day after surgery. Flyhealth secured a great 4.5star hotel for me where i stayed till i returned back to my country. I was soo nervous travelling all the way to have surgery but everything went great. Am thankful to God and also to Dr.Prof Mustafa Keskin of Medipol Hospital in Istanbul,Turkey.
travelling 18 hours straight and having to sit for most of that period is even a risk for a person who has not had tummy tuck surgery.Considering you will have tummy tuck this long flight will be risky for you and your surgeon. I dont think your surgeon will give written consent for this.
most people and even health practioners get confused between keloid and hypertrophic scar. If you are really keloid prone yes you will likely have keloid around your belly button. Unfortunately there is no definite treatment or prophylactic procedure. But most people who claim they are keloid prone are in fact have hypertrophic scar from their previous procedure. Hypertrophic scar on the other hand can be prevented.
Since you have no pregnancies and and suppose you did not loose massive weight you should not need muscle tightening. Bu the final decision should be made at the operating table. your doctor will see if your muscles are separated too much after skin flap elevation.
