I went from Australia to have Rhinoplasty and Neck Lift at the Beverly Wilshire in Kuala Lumpur. I've had other surgeries (breast and fat transfer) in Australia previously and can confidently say Dr Nassir is excellent and i recommend him. He explained everything so clearly and answered all my questions. He did an excellent job with perfect scar placement for neck lift in my ears and behind my head going into hairline. The nose was open Rhinoplasty with self dissolving stitches that i can now not see one week out. The hospital is beautiful and the nurses were like little angels looking after me, so gentle and caring. Transferes to and from hospital and airport are included in the price quoted by Kiran. What i didn't like and i expressed this to Kiran was that i originally thought the price was going to be different as i saw a 40% discount on the internet, then later was told that price isn't available anymore and now it's 22%. Also, i had to pay $80 for a covid test and another $126 for take home medications and stockings. I was not aware of these extra costs and very angry about it, so recommend you be very clear on the price with Kiran and get it all in writing beforehand. They also don't take bank transfer payment until one day before the surgery which was annoying, because the money wouldn't go through by surgery day and you need to have total payment paid then. They prefer you pay with cash or visa. This doesn't have anything to do with Dr Nassir though, more to do with how the hospital is run. Updated on 17 Aug 2022: *I forgot to mention who Kiran is. Kiran is the hospital/client liason lady. She organises your surgery with the hospital and arranges transfers to and from hospital from your hotel and also airport transfer. Updated on 17 Aug 2022: Before surgery: These are the photos of my nose before surgery. It's big and i have a hump. I had an accident and broke my nose when i was younger, causing the hump. I wanted to remove the hump and have a slight ski slope nose, plus have a smaller nose in general.

As I got older, I liked the way my face looked less and less. In my mid-40s, I went to get a lower facelift. After shopping around, I decided to go to Malaysia for its excellent reputation for cosmetic surgery and good pricing - the surgery was about 1/2 to 2/3 of what it would have cost in the west. Dr. Zahari was my doctor. I scheduled the appointment on my own, without using one of the travel services, but didn't have a choice as to my surgeon. He met with me for about 15 minutes before the surgery and they did bloodwork, and the surgery was done the next day. I spent the night and the next day recovering in the hospital, and then went back to my hotel. I stayed in KL for a week to get the stitches out and went home. Seven months later, I would say I'm 70% pleased with the surgery. My face looks great and my neck looks good too. There are two downsides: 1. I haven't gotten feeling back in the back half of my face yet. The swelling is about 85% gone, but from about midcheek to the back of my jawbone, where the swelling remains, there is still no feeling on both sides. It's not the worst, but it's strange and I didn't expect to have this numbness for so long. 2. My ears look pretty bad. The scarring is basically gone in front, though it's still quite pronounced in back. But the shape and position of my ears has totally changed in a way that looks very unnatural. I didn't know that facelifts could cause deformities in the ears. I now have very noticeable pixie ears on both sides, the tragus is completely gone, and the bottom half of one of my ears now folds behind the skin of the cheek. The ear was also rotated so it looks quite odd. I can't wear my hair up. I've read that this is the result of poor technique, but that it's not uncommon. Unfortunately the only way to fix it (without noticeable scarring) is to have another facelift, which I'm not interested in at this point. Caveat emptor, I guess. I'm happy with the face, but if I knew what would happen to my ears, I'm not sure I'd do this again.

Had an Extended SMAS face and neck lift. Neck was not a concern but is now. I have a large roll of fat from not having muscles tightened. Offered a revision but quoted $3300 AUD to do it on top of airfares & accommodation costs. I don’t trust Dr Nasir to repair my neck and refuse to waist anymore money on him. Communication was brilliant prior to surgery Kiran was replying instantly now that I have had my surgery it is almost non existent.

After stalking this website for more than half a year, I finally decided to do tummy tuck & Lipo abdomen. I have 2 beautiful kids, unfortunately they gave me hanging pouch on my belly. I had gestational diabetes so both of them are big baby (4,2kg & 5kg). I exercise 5-6times per week and do a lot of 10k run even few half marathon, still can't help me with my "hanging pouch". So I chose Dr. Mohamad Nasir Zahari at Beverly Wilshire, because he was one of the top surgeon in this city. The clinic it self is a well establish and had a good reputation, even win few awards. Consultation went well, I had 3x consultation dating back to last March, before doing the surgery (I'm that nervous) and he was very friendly and answering all questions clearly & patiently (I had a long list written down). This clinic is a bit more expensive (but not the most) than other places in town. I really dont want to do big surgery with cheap price tag that sounds too good to be true. So I did my surgery on March 8th 2017 (a year after my 1st consultation). Was very nervous and anxious but hubby was very supportive. He took his leave to accompany me on surgery day. Came to their clinic at 9am and after few preparations, my surgery started around 11am for about 3 hours. Anaesthetic doctor help me to calm down, she was very friendly and even made few jokes (This is my first time on general anaesthesia). After surgery was a blur. Don't remember much, I mostly slept. Woke up around 5pm and hubby already there waiting in our room. My room was nice, like a hotel room, private only for me/ not sharing and have everything controlled by remote (tv, lights & curtains). I was on morphine so I don't feel pain, just need some adjustment and slight discomfort because now I have 2 drains out from near my hips and pee catheter. That night hubby went home but no problem for me because the nurse really take good care of me. I had difficulty of sleeping, maybe I slept too much in the afternoon so I asked for sleeping pill around 11pm. They helped me shower the next morning because I'm strong enough to stand. So I shower everyday in the morning and bowel movement was quite normal. Stayed at the clinic for 2 nights, and then went home after that. I could say that I have quite a high tolerance on pain because I can walk around the house normally (but a bit hunched and try to limit my walk for important things only) and shower myself sitting a plastic chair. I've read about some people suggesting to rent a 4 legged crutch to help walking, but I don't need all that. I'm quite fortunate that I have a helper that could help me with my kids errands, they are at elementary school so not so difficult. The biggest difference I've found so far is, They removed my drains when I leave the clinic, doc said it's much more convenient for me at home. Luckily my fluid also not too much. Some people that had a lot of liquid maybe will need to use drains when they checked out from clinic. I had no nausea, vomitting, diarrhea etc. My appetite was normal too eventhough I can't eat much and can get full easily. I feel my tummy skin stretched a lot if I ate too much so I try to avoid that. I'm quite lucky for not feeling any major pains that I've read a lot here. A week later (Mar 16th) I had my first check up. Doctor was pleased with the results, my tummy is a bit swollen but Doc said it's normal. They removed the stiches on my belly button. But the long stiches on my tummy will be disolved and absorbed by the body. Tummy was still a bit swollen and I had some fluid built up inside my tummy but not too much so Doc said he will drain it next week. My complain was I had lower back pain because I hunched a lot so I just used counterpain oil to help my back, Doc gave me some painkillers & sleeping pills). 2 weeks after my surgery (Mar 23rd) went for my 2nd checkup and doc drained my fluid. He used slim needle to suck the fluid+blood (looks like a red wine) from my tummy. I don't feel anything since my tummy still feel numb. He got around 80ml of fluid out. I started to go out to do my errands 2 weeks Post surgery. But I can get tired so need to sit after walking for a while. Not much bloating, just have lower back pain because of hunching too much. My next checkup will be in few days (almost 1 month post surgery) and I'm feeling good. I just came back from overseas flight and can walk quite a distance with no problem. I'm happy with my results, I am more confident and happy with my body. I can't wait to do normal exercise after 6 weeks PO. The only wish I have is: I wish my scar is more nicely curved (like other people) but then again, it will fade by time and only me and hubby (and realself readers) can see that. So yeah, that's all I can say for now. Will post more pics in the future. Hope this helps mommy out there that is considering doing this surgery :)
