The crown will feel big to your tongue and cheek because you haven't had a tooth there for a while. It takes about 2 weeks for your muscles to get adjusted to having a tooth there. If it still bothers you then the dentist can reshape the crown with a bur to make it more comfortable. Hope that helps!

Do not be embarrassed about going. We see this all the time in dentistry. You need to go as soon as possible to save the tooth. From the picture it looks like you may need a root canal and crown to save the tooth but depending on what the x-ray shows, you may need an extraction. The longer you wait the more likely  you will end  up needing a tooth extraction. Find out if the office has Nitrous for your anxiety. Hope that helps and good luck.

It looks like tooth decay along the gum line. Expect to have an x-ray and exam. If you decide to have the cavity filled, you will get local anesthetic and the filling placed. If the cavity is really deep and into the nerve, the dentist will let you know that you may need a root canal. The longer you wait, the worse it will get. Even though you don't have pain doesn't mean you can wait. If it starts to hurt that means more likely then not you will need a root canal. So try to go asap to avoid that. In the mean time try to keep it clean by brushing it with a fluoridated toothpaste.

I am not sure where the cavity was on the tooth that was filled but usually it's on the top of the tooth, called the chewing surface. The chip that you show on the photo is along the gum line. That is mainly caused from grinding and clenching. You could have had a filling there that simply came off. Go back to the dentist and he will address it.

There is a temporary cement  you can buy at the drug store. Clean out the hole and make sure there's no food impacted then place the temporary cement on top. It's important to seal the tooth so the root canal doesn't fail. If you can't afford the crown right now, have the general dentist put in a permanent filling.
