My experience with PRMA exceeded my expectations. Being in the healthcare industry my expectations are high. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is scary in and of itself and facing surgery can be daunting. Dr Chrysopoulo was my surgeon and I can’t say enough about his bedside manner of putting me at ease, taking time and listening and answering all my questions. He then is truly a gifted surgeon, I’m 5 weeks post op from having a double mastectomy with immediate diep flap reconstruction, I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. Having a body altering surgery is emotional and takes some adjustment but seeing my current results and knowing I’m cancer free I feel so grateful for the talent group of Drs and nurses that were part of my care. I highly recommend PRMA to anyone facing breast cancer surgery.

Dr. Chrysopoulo is amazing! His patience, honesty and professionalism helped me make a decision that was very difficult for me. If I could, I would give him 10 stars. HIs staff also deserves 10 stars. They are caring, professional, knowledgeable, and always eager and ready to answer any question. I was alway made to feel like I was the only person they were treating. Their facilities are welcoming, private, and calming.

I did a great deal of research and vetting of micro-surgical, board certified, plastic surgeons before I chose Dr. Chrysopoulo. I chose him based on his training, number of successful procedures and team work with his group. He is a master surgeon who has a passion to restore a woman's sense of femininity after cancer. The moment I met him I never felt like anything else than a team player in the information and decision making process. The outcomes are extraordinary. He is a gentleman, a fine surgeon and the staff and nurses at PRMA are there to fully support you through this difficult procedure. Zero regrets done by the best!

I had a double mastectomy with breast reconstruction (implants). They were not my first choice but not having had children prior to this surgery, and not being particularly large, reconstructing with my own tissue was not optimal. PRMA and Dr. Chrysopoulo are literally as good as it gets. Dr. Chrys is a truly lovely human being. And he's everything you would want in a surgeon because not only does he have wonderful bedside manner (and a great sense of humor), but he's a perfectionist. He has a fascinating training/residency background which I was unaware of until after my reconstructive surgery but it makes perfect sense, this perfectionism. Not only am I *incredibly* pleased with his work (and professional demeanor) but my oncologist, who is old school, cannot seem to stop himself from commenting to me at every follow-up appointment how "he sees many breasts day in -day out, and this is some of the best work I have ever seen. Please give him my compliments..." He has said this at minimum three times, even if he wants to stop himself from saying it, I don't believe he can. There's no other surgeon I would want to operate on me, which is saying a lot because really, who wants to need a surgeon? Regardless, I feel my reconstruction was more or less pristine. The entire PRMA operation is geared towards the comfort and healing for survivors, with a focus on living beyond your diagnosis, beyond your reconstruction, and getting back to your whole self again. I couldn't appreciate him or them more. HIGHLY recommended.

Very pleased with the DIEP procedure of breast reconstruction after breast cancer mastectomies. There are so many offerings out there on how to tackle breast reconstruction. This one made the most sense...take just the fat off the belly and make breasts. Recovery was fast for me; and didn't have much pain at all.

If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. You owe it to yourself to get a second opinion and you will learn at a lot from the doctors at PRMA. The staff is great and the office is very professional. I had a DIEP flap procedure done. I do not need annual MRIs to check for problems or additional surgeries to replace ripped or leaking implants. My own tissue was used. The Pink Ladies group is a support group of former PRMA patients that will provide support to new patients.
