I was a 32H and met with Dr. Choi for a consultation. She was nice and answered all of my questions. She thought I might be a little below the required amount for insurance approval, but she pushed it through to my insurance anyway, and I was approved. Due to her schedule, the length between even getting the consultation scheduled and then the surgery was quite long, but TBH, it was worth the wait. I am a week post-op, and so far, I am pretty happy with her work and my overall experience getting surgery at NYU Langone. All of the staff I encountered were nice, and I felt in good hands the entire time. I'd recommend her for sure

I had a breast reduction done by her and am literally feeling so relieved. The experience went so much smoother than I could’ve ever anticipated thanks to her and her staff. Ironically… I didn’t go to any other doctors for consultation. Dr. Choi was my first and I was so impressed that I didn’t bother looking elsewhere and I’m glad. Definitely agree with everyone else re: her bedside manner, empathy, and care for her patients. I’m still healing but highly, highly recommend and I know I’ll be well taken care of the rest of this journey!

I have a breast reduction and lift and other members of my family have used her as well for different procedures. She is especially skilled in working with post-bariatric patients. Her bedside manner, responsiveness, and honest care about your results made me feel extremely comfortable.

Dr. Choi is an amazing doctor. I have had a breast reduction and a tummy tuck with her on separate occasions. Her bedside manner is excellent. She is very caring, thorough, takes her time to explain the procedure and projected outcome. Most importantly she is always very calm and methodical. I had been looking for many years for a doctor to do These procedures and was tired of the NYC plastic surgeon ego's, until I came across Dr. Choi. Before my tummy tuck, she sat down with me and I quote " I know this may be scary for you, but do not worry, I and the rest of the surgical team will take very good care of you. I want you to focus on the goods things that will come out of this procedure for you" So glad I finally found a doctor whose bedside manner is as perfect as her surgical skills. Dr. Choi is a perfectionist, and unless she knows she can leave you looking better she will not proceed with any procedures.

If you make it past the very nasty Russian receptionist that answers your call Dr. Choi is very nice. The receptionist treats you as if you are bothering her by calling. And DON'T ask a question...she is even nastier. I was sent a follow up letter to call and speak to the office manager about the procedure for which I had a consult, and receptionist was pushy..trying to force me to make an appointment. I had already been in for $250 consult. I didn't want another appointment, just to speak to the office manager, as stated in the letter. People spend a lot of money, and make really hard life changing decisions and definitely should not be treated in this way. She needs to be taught to treat people better, as if her job depended on clients coming to this practice. Otherwise Dr. Choi has great bedside manner, seems very thorough, smart and capable. I am currently seeking multiple opinions but she is high on the list. It may come down to how I am treated by the support staff.
