Your first step into the beautiful office of Austin Cosmetic Surgery is only the beginning of your experience of an elegant, yet humble home. Dr. Michelle is one of the most amazing people I've had the pleasure of knowing. She truly has skills and experience with a multitude of facets in life (I understand as she and I are peers). The wonderful nurses are like what you may remember from "back in the day" or a movie. They're kind, caring, follow-up and compassionate and beautiful. I finally decided to get a facelift. I knew only Dr. Michelle could understand my face. I do not look differently "worked on" or weird at all. I look exactly the same, just younger again. Dr. Michelle is so warm and fun to be around. She is talented and intelligent in a way that cannot be bought with even higher education and board memberships. From the time you walk in the door to many follow-up procedures that are included in the initial expense, you will be taken care of beyond satisfaction. All of these ladies are some of my favorite women ever. I have many thanks to all at Austin Cosmetic Surgery.
I've been on the fence for a long while about doing this because of the scars. I have always loved my boobs and I nursed my daughter for 3 years! She's 18 and they've held up beautifully. Now I'm pushing 50 and they are taking a well deserved nap. They like their new home in my armpits lol. I'm ready for them to be perky again. Scheduled for breast lift w implants plus 360 Lipo w bbl 7/29. Woot woot.Updated on 28 Jul 2021: Updated on 1 Aug 2021: Surgery was Thursday and the pain has been really intense. My lower back hurts from my scoliosis big time. I can already tell a huge difference! Updated on 9 Aug 2021: It wasn’t until day seven that I felt even remotely human. It was like waking up from a bad dream. The pain the first week was just unbelievable And the Compression garments so uncomfortable. Tits have felt gigantic and look fake as hell. I’m told most of this is to be expected. But I have to say on day eight I looked in the mirror my mouth fell open and I was like heck yeah I would do this again and it was worth every penny. I am very happy with my results so far I just don’t want to lose any more of my booty!
She is the best with injections. Michelle Carlotti is my go to girl. I know when I sit down I'm going to get back up and see what I asked for in the mirror. She is experienced and professional. The facility is very clean and the front desk greets you with a warm welcome.
Amazing, caring Staff
Fantastic physician and great staff. I was very pleased with all services. Everyone was very friendly and kind. I'm not very kine on visiting the dentist; however this experience took all of my fears away. The overall cost was affordable for me and the office offered payment plans. It's very difficult to come across a physician and office staff that care about you and your needs. I will refer all my friends and family to this physician.
The only way to make my nipples the size that I wanted and in the location that I wanted we had to do a mastopexy. I has previous breast implants plus a lift and one had fallen considerably lower than the other and had taken on a square shape. The other headed due west and they were both so low it was like I was all legs and no body. A mastopexy scared me because this is the procedure with the anchor scar that goes around your nipple, vertically down to a horizontal crescent underneath. I had heard nightmares of these scars and my bestfriend got one in NYC that has completely ruined her breasts. There was NO way I was going to do this until I talked to Dr. Michelle. She practically guaranteed I'd be happier with my breasts and showed me hundreds of before and after shots of other happy patients. She even had several call me. In short, I did it and the day after I was already loving them! They are BEAUTIFUL and they still have so much time to heal. Updated on 29 Mar 2012: It has now been 29 days after surgery and I've had a complication. Most doctors, mine included, use dissolvable sutures on the deeper tissues to help avoid puckering in the main incision. Most every doctor also uses steri-strips (adhesive) on the outside incision to glue it together while the inside heals. In my case I am EXTREMELY allergic to the steri-strips so we had to use silicone strips instead. This isn't ideal as you have to remove the strips every 12 hours to clean, let dry and reapply. Well about on day 23 after my surgery a couple of things happened. 1 - My body began to reject some of the dissolvable sutures and figured the easiest way out was through my incision. 1 out of 100 patients sometimes reject a few of the dissolvable sutures. For me about 6 or 8 stiches out of the 400 that were in there decided to find their way out through my incision which normally wouldn't be a big deal but: 2- In doing so it opened my incision up to all kinds of bacteria which I was unknowingly exposing my breasts to every time I changed my silicone strips. Somehow they got contaminated and BOOM - infection. I've included a photo of the situation at its worst. Of course I was out of town at the time but the Carlotti's were in constant contact with me by text instructing me what to do including trashing the silicone strips and getting me on a super strong antibiotic. I'm also including a photo of my boobs on day 4 of the antibiotics. MUCH better. Then I'm including one from 5 minutes ago. It was scary but I'm assured that all the pink will disappear and the incision has maintained intact. I will be seeing the Carlotti's next week to see when we can continue with either silicone strips or other forms of scar prevention. I will keep you all informed of my progress. I'm still extremely happy with my breasts but I wish I had read up on it a little more and know what I could possibly expect given my sensitivity to adhesives and such. Updated on 14 Dec 2013: I have the most gorgeous breasts I've ever seen in person. My scars are almost imperceptible and they look like natural perfect breasts. No matter what I went though in the healing process it was SO WORTH IT! Updated on 21 Mar 2014: Woltab, I am finally posting after photos. I kind of disappeared for a bit as I was feeling attacked on this forum by some crazy lady. I hope these help! They are GORGEOUS. The scars even are barely there.
My neck has always been older than my face. I've tried every dermatologist recommended cream, ultherapy, matrix rf, fotofacial (the latter two helped the most I think ) until finally, after extensive research I decided to bite the bullet, suffer the downtime and skip onto the CO2 fractional ablative laser which vaporizes the outer layer of skin to promote the regrowth of more youthful elastic skin as well as the future production of collagen. This laser supposedly also helps with hyperpigmentation (which in my case wasn't such an issue since I'd addressed that in late September with excellent results. Updated on 12 Jan 2015: Updated on 12 Jan 2015: My neck skin was wrinkly and thin and old. I tried Ultherapy, Matrix RF (which worked VERY temporary), Botox, Fillers, Creams, Peels...CO2 was going to be my last hurrah. Updated on 16 Jan 2015: Yesterday I went to Dr. Carlotti's for a check up and honestly wasn't expecting to leave so, well, hopeful. I also went there for some Botox on my neck and jowls as well as a little filler on my jowls while this stuff is healing. I'm leaving to a conference tomorrow and am a little freaked so I'm at least going to look the best that I possibly can in spite of the co2 recovery. Well, Dr. Michelle suggested a light fotofacial and I was NOT on board at first but the woman has this aura about her that makes you feel like she knows what she's saying and cares about the results so, hubby at my side, said 'let's do it'. SO GLAD. It was like immediate toning down of the redness and the areas of hyperpigmentation. She explained too that some of my skin was congested so today I went to my other favorite doc for a dermaplaning. I'm pretty pink still but I did just get dermaplaning - had a cocktail - and am in a mad rush to get my stuff together for the conference I'm leaving for tomorrow. I have makeup on at the moment and it was fine until I sat in front of the warmth of the computer. Updated on 21 Jan 2015: Well, today is 7 weeks since the C02 but I have finally found the perfect combo of camo for my red splotches on my face and dark pigmentation on my chest, neck and underarmish area. First I try and smooth the surface with my favorite primer which is actually monistat chafing gel, then I combine the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream with Miracle Skin 20, Pur Mineral Makeup, Revision Regular, Revision Matte, and Neutrogena Sunscreen and pat it on starting on my neck, chest and area near the underarm and pat the rest on my face. THEN, what isn't in my photo is that I put concealer under my eyes and on my eyelids (they are darker and a bit red) and FINALLY I take a powder brush and fill it up with Pur Mineral Powder (not in the photo bcz my hands are only so big...) and dab it on the worst areas layer by layer. It works! Attached is a pic on the 7 week mark. I mean I wouldn't sit under any bright lights or anything but I look good I think! I'll take a pick after I wash it all off later. Updated on 18 Feb 2015: Yesterday was 11 weeks. I've had two IPL treatments to help get rid of the hyperpigmentation on my neck and chest (and shoulders?) caused by the C02 and the flushed skin on my face. My face is a lot better although I still flush for no particular reason sometimes and also when I'm angry (like a cartoon!) and always when I exercise. A blister formed on my right shoulder/chest area and popped, the skin peeled off so now I have a small scar that I know will go away after time. My pigmentation is the same on my neck and chest but it could still be healing from the IPL as it can sometimes take a couple of weeks as you can see in my IPL experience in September. It's hard to tell if the C02 at least dealt with the original issue which was crepey lines on my neck because the pigmentation makes the lines look more obvious. I will know once I get rid of the lines. I have a couple events to go to but I plan to have my normal IPL place do a hard core neck and chest IPL in early march. Frustrating. At this point I would never recommend the C02 laser but it's only been 11 weeks so... Updated on 28 Feb 2015: No different from before except now I have hyperpigmentation. Updated on 15 Apr 2015: 4 IPL treatments later, I have a teeny bit of scarring on my chest and the texture of my face is a little rough but I'm happy to be about back to normal. The fractional CO2 was a mistake and I do not recommend it unless you have super bad acne scarring or enlarged pores (orange peel skin) and there's not a lot else you can do. It did nothing for my crepey neck skin so I am about back to square one no (except $5,000 poorer). You can keep up with battle against the neck skin. I will not give up!!
It is best to see a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgery who is familiar with cosmetic surgery. This way they can correct your overbite while also complementing aesthetics. These procedures are advanced and the surgeon should be considered carefully.
There are many, many stock implant options however based on the bi-angular width you drew you would fall out of what is available in the angle category. The chin projection you are desiring could be achieved with a stock anatomical or extended anatomical. If custom angles are still the goal, we suggest you come to somebody with vast experience in manipulating the facial skeleton and fixating such implants to the underlying bone. The process is quite easy, unfortunately not cheap, and the surgery predictable in the right hands. Good luck to you.
Are you referring to bleaching cream? If so what percentage are you using and is it hydroquinone alone? If so you can use Tretinoin with hydroquinone creams. We do not go over 4-6% hydroquinone in our compounded creams, but there are lots of compounded formulas used. Depending on the area being treated and your skin type, sometimes it is best to alternate days using one and then the other. Make sure to apply your tretinoin at night and always wear sunscreen during the day. These can also be very drying and using a moisturizer can help prevent irritation. Always consult with your physician if you have any questions or concerns.
First, I would seek a professional to make sure they are Fordyce spots vs something else (if you haven’t don’t so already). These spots are oil glands and can form tiny whitehead-like bumps. Do not squeeze them. Tretinoin at a low strength may be able to help, but use at a low strength as the lips are thin and can become irritated.
It is normal for the skin to be pink or even red like a sunburn after treatment, but this all depends on how aggressively the treatment was performed, i.e. how deep the needles are penetrating the skin in different areas of the face, how many times the skin is passed over, etc. Usually this redness fades after 12-24 hours. If you have sensitive skin, rosacea, underlying redness, or if the treatment was overly aggressive more stubborn areas of red can appear. These should fade, but at this time frame it could be appropriate to try IPL to treat underlying pigments/vessels. If you have any concerns, speak to your doctor.
