I have known Dr. Stephanides for several years and recently had Juvederm filler injections. I was very pleased with the results. As usual Dr. Stephanides listened to what I was hoping to achieve and his expert placement of the filler turned my "sad face" into a much happier looking one.
Dr. Stephanides did amazing surgery on my mini facelift! He was terrific before and after my surgery with great follow up. I would highly recommend Dr Stephanides to my friends and family! Professional and knowledgeable!
Didnt want anything too noticable. Just want to inflate what was lost through bfeeding. One surgeon told me i needed a lift the next opinion said absolutely not. Went with 2nd doctor. He wanted pictures of what i wanted to look like in the end. The first surgeon stuffed some sizers in my bra. That was not a good way to determine size at all. I ended up doing sub muscular 350/375 to even out size. Updated on 22 Apr 2014: Was a pretty simple surgery. 5 days off and I was back to fairly normal. My dr cleared me to wear no bra at post op (day 5) and I was cleared to sleep on my side!!! )
Thousands of dollars and unmeasurable amounts of emotional pain later, I find myself resentful of choosing Dr. Stephanides. I debated writing a review because he did refund me the surgeons fee but really, the refund does me little good when I have to pay another surgeon to try to fix his poor work. (Breast revision surgery isn't cheap.) I got a breast augmentation done and should have known it was a mistake when he just wanted me to bring in pictures instead of looking at actual implant sizes. I was 22, 5'3", 120 lbs and came out of the surgery with 350 CC implants putting me at a 32 DD. Not what I wanted! He had also made the pockets way too big and over released my pectorial muscule, leaving me with muscle animation, symnastia, and double bubble. The worst part - he didn't want to fix it! Actually, he continuously denied that anything was wrong. Finally when he did do the revision, I had to pay again (minus the implant and surgeon fee) and the surgery only made the problem worse! He was impossible to communicate with and sometimes, I think it was because he had no clue what I was saying (I believe English isn't his first language.) All in all, I had a horrible experience. This doesn't mean your experience will be bad, but I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.
Thank you for your question. There are many factors that can contribute to "lumpiness" under the chin after a patient undergoes a facelift surgery with liposuction. Typically this will improve in the weeks and months following surgery. It is best to see your original surgeon for a follow-up visit. Best of Luck, Michael Stephanides, M.D.
Thank you for sharing your photographs & your question. You are a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. I advise that you find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for a consultation. During your consultation visit you should discuss the concerns you have, your ideal outcome, and ask any other questions you may have. Best of luck, Michael Stephanides, M.D.
Usually a single procedure would be preferred. The surgery requires general anesthesia and there is no reason to divide it into two separate procedures.
Full recovery following body and thigh liposuction usually takes at least 18 weeks. Initially there is significant swelling that slowly goes down over a period of 9 weeks. At the addressed areas are still firm. An additional 9 weeks will be required for the areas addressed to become soft. At 3 weeks you will be comfortable as far as pain/discomfort is concerned but you will not be at your final size.I hope this helps.Michael Stephanides, MD
