Thank you for your question. Based on the photos you've shared, I would not be concerned with a vascular occlusion. Vascular occlusions typically result in the area turning white (blanching) due to lack of blood flow. The lack of blood flow then results in cell death (necrosis) which would present as black-like scabs. What you're most likely experiencing is bruising at the injection site which should go away in 5-7 days. The blue color could also be due to the tyndall effect if the filler was placed too superficially. However, it's difficult to determine bruising versus tyndall effect until bruising has time to subside. If this is still present after 7-10 days I suggest following up with your provider.
Thank you for the question and photo. From the picture the line appears to be more pronounced now than before. That said, because it's only been one week it's difficult to determine if excess filler was placed or it's swelling. Unfortunately it can take several weeks for all of the swelling to subside in this region. At our practice I schedule a four week follow up after undereye filler. If after four weeks the lines are still prominent and you're unhappy you can have your provider inject hyaluronidase to dissolve it. If you do decide to have it dissolved and still want the area treated you might want to consider PRP injections. They've been shown to help improve dark circles and undereye hollows and have a lower incidence of adverse effects.
Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with such a beneficial therapy. Skin peeling is not a typical result of Microneedling. That said dryness and some flaking can be expected, especially within the first 48-72 hours. With regards to your acne scarring, it can take several more sessions to see a significant difference. In our practice, we highly recommend using PRP during microneedling to treat acne scarring. Lastly, the depth that your provider went can also impact results. If you just had mild redness where your acne scars are then the provider may not have penetrated deep enough.
