It is completely for teeth not to move as anticipated during the course of an Invisalign treatment. Invisalign uses the data submitted by your dentist (photos, impressions, x-rays) to give an estimate of the amount of movement each aligner will produce. But, it is very common for lower anterior teeth to require IPR (or shaving) and usually attachments are required to achieve movement on teeth that have long roots or multiple roots (like molars). IPR is not damaging to your tooth - your dentist will be removing usually 0.1-0.2mm of enamel - your tooth has approximately 2mm so it's a very small amount. Regarding the widening arch, it's difficult to advise on that without seeing the photos from before the Invisalign treatment started. From the photos you posted, it seems that your arch on the posterior (back) teeth should actually be widened slightly for an ideal bite relation as well as giving room to allow the lower anterior teeth to move back. I would definitely suggest speaking to your dentist about your concerns with the bite and the shape of the arch - that is a much larger issue than the shaving or attachements. Good Luck!
