I generally agree with the other responses. However it is well known that Botox injection in the forehead can lead to brow ptosis or sagging of the brow. Brow ptosis can cause a more loose upper eyelid skin which may case it to drape differently over your kid. However I would expect this to happen as soon as the Botox takes affect (5-7 days) and then improve over time. Something that happens at 8 weeks is less likely to be from the Botox injections. 

Both Volbella and Volift are essentially the same substances with different manufacturing qualities. So you do not need to worry about having a reaction from one and not the other. Volbella is a much finer particle size meant to fill fine lines and Volift is a larger particle size meant to give volume and fill deeper lines.

Some physicians use a more prescriptive and results oriented explanation where they discuss the results, but they either don't think that patients understand, or care about exactly what product or mix of products they are using. They think that as long as the results are achieved, the fine details of product use do not matter. 

In my personal practice I take a more educational approach and let patients know exactly which products I am using and why. As far as your doctor "lying" to you, I think he may just be taking the first approach. If you are happy with your results, I would not worry about it. If you are not happy, I would go back to the doctor, without accusing him of lying, and say "I have these bumps. I noticed that you used some Volift. Why do you use Volift for these treatments and do you think that could be causing the problem?" Best of luck and thanks for sharing your experience. 

I agree with most of the other reviewers that the filler was either placed (or less likely migrated) too superficially in the eyelid skin. Placement too superficially results in the Tyndall effect. Tyndall effect is not specific to fillers. It is a description of how light scatters. When the filler is placed too superficially, especially in thin skin like the tear trough, light passes through that skin and scatters with the whitish or blueish hue that you have. I would also suggest that the superficial placement of your filler has resulted in poor, bulging contour. You should return to your provider for hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the filler.  Unfortunately dissolving filler is not as exact a science as placing filler and you can approach it in two ways. 1-try to do incremental injections and dissolve a little bit at a time. 2- dissolve it all and start over with filler. Volbella is also a cross-linked product meant to have more longevity which makes it more challenging to dissolve. Thanks for posting and best of luck!
