It is not unusual to feel “less full” after the first month or two.However, you should not be able to eat anywhere near the same portions youwere eating prior to surgery. If that is the case, your stomach has to beexamined to make sure that enough of it was removed. Assuming your surgerywas done correctly, you are actually doing the right thing by stoppingbefore you are full. Your goal is to never feel completely full. Alwayskeep in mind that hunger is triggered by many different things, not justyour stomach. Your surgery will help curb your appetite to but you have totrain yourself to maintain your small portions and your body and mind willadapt.
