I was getting treated for over 2 years with the PicoSure laser and my tattoo faded but never went away. It was super frustrating so I looked for another clinic and found the laser called Enlighten. The Dr. told me that it was going to work a lot better for black ink. He was right. After 1 treatment it is now completely gone. I was pretty blown away and yet angry that I wasted so much time getting treated with PicoSure. Especially when I found out there is now a law suit against them for it not working.
I'm 55 years old, workout consistently and eat somewhat healthily. I had a hysterectomy and my thyroid removed. Talk about a double edge sword. With all the cardio I do I can't get rid of the fat on my stomach. Today was my first session. No pain at all. I read my e-reader and relaxed. Will update and post photos later. Updated on 14 May 2015: I feel very good today. My abs actually feel tighter, I feel like I've done a bunch of sit-ups. I have a small bruise on my upper abs, which I was told was a possibility. Started the process of tattoo removal with the latest technology. Hurt like hell -- and I feel like my pain tolerance is fairly high. I didn't take any pain medication, but after the treatment it just felt like a bad sunburn and by the end of the day, as long as nothing rubbed against it, I couldn't feel it. The new Enlighten laser is supposed to be the best laser for tattoo removal, but from what I understand is best for black inks. Updated on 23 Dec 2015:
