I have been having Botox with Dr Patterson for the last seven years or more, at first I was a very cautious/nervous client seeking some one to do this for me . Being introduced to Dr Patterson was the best thing, he put me at complete ease and listened to my needs of wanting to enhance my features and look natural still. Dr Patterson is reassuring, calm, and a leader in the field of rosacea treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and has been treating my Rosacea with IPL for over 10 years. The results continue to be better than I ever expected possible. My skin (very fair) is completely clear and IPL is the only treatment that has worked. I had tried all the creams and gels and antibiotics that the basic medical profession recommended, no improvement. But Woodford’s IPL treatment has cleared my skin of redness, of pustules and has greatly improved the ocular rosacea, blepharitis, as well. No more red eyes or red skin! This is not just because IPL works, but because Woodford Medical was one of the first and is definitely the best place for treating Rosacea. Expertise, experience, commitment and care about patients, these things count! I travel many hours to attend his clinic and will definitely continue to do so. I highly recommend Dr Patterson and Woodford Medical. The whole team are very kind and also fun.
I had Botox and Profhilo with Dr Patterson and couldn't be more pleased. I always leave the treatments looking refreshed, never done, and he totally understands my 'less is more' approach. Botox injections for jaw tension and teeth grinding (bruxism) has been life changing. The results are far beyond what I expected, it feels magical after trying numerous other treatments that simply "managed" the pain. I've had TMJ for 30 years, and have been to numerous doctors and dentists for the grinding, clenching, muscle spasms, and headaches. I've tried braces, muscle relaxers, physio, massage, night guards - but was constantly searching for a better treatment. I first heard about botox injections to treat the overactive muscles about 5 years ago, and did loads of research before starting treatments with Dr Patterson at Woodford Medical 18 months ago. I recommend trying botox for bruxism to everyone who mentions they grind their teeth, and Dr Patterson in particular because he and all the staff at Woodford Medical have been honest, realistic about treatment goals, and attentive to my specific care.
The end result is fantastic!! I was a little nervous having Botox but Dr Merv reassured me & actually it wasn’t bad. Highly recommend him & the clinic. Will definitely be back for more Botox when needed which he assured me would be months away. Thank you for being so calm

Having been to a few different injectors - Harley Street, my dentist & one or two recommendations from friends - I can say none have the knowledge or professionalism I've seen from dr patterson. He's honest, practical & wont just fill you up like some of these money hungry "professionals" do. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to Woodford medical for Botox for years. Both Dr Patterson and Dr Allen are great (as are their clinic colleagues/ assistants) and I’m always delighted with the results. Very natural and ‘refreshed’ rather than ‘done’. During one appointment I asked for more and was turned down on the basis that I didn’t need it and would probably look as if I had too much Botox. Confirmation for me that I am in good hands. I’ve also had IPL treatments here with a different practitioner, also delighted with the results, sun spots/damage disappeared.
