You would want to see an orthodontist first to level and align the teeth. The malocclusion can be best masked through braces rather than a restorative solution.
Assuming your teeth are cavity free, gums are healthy, and you have appropriate root lengths… Ideal treatment would involve:1. Clear aligners to level and align all teeth, expand the arch form to fill in some of the negative space on the sides, and create equal spacing around the peg laterals. 2. Gingival reshaping around the peg laterals to create better proportioned teeth and facilitate a more beautiful, harmonious outcome. 3. Whitening. 4. Four porcelain veneers for the front teeth to create better balance, restore worn edges, and create ideal proportion between incisors. Alternative (but less ideal) would be just to use bonding material on the laterals to make them look more proportionate. Just a reminder: Cosmetic treatment should only be completed after a full comprehensive evaluation and all treatment of pathology is a arrested. Happy smiling!
A doctor would need to do a full exam and review your Xrays to make any clinical recommendations. Based off of the photograph, it looks like a gumlift and veneers maybe a really nice option to enhance your smile. A gumlift must be performed correctly to be permanent and prevent the tissue from growing back-- there are different types. If the doctor just used a laser to remove some gum tissue, this is not a permanent procedure. You will want a permanent gumlift before the veneers are placed.
Based off the photo, it looks like you could likely be a good candidate, but this could NOT be determined without a full gum and bone analysis and review of your X-rays. If you are a good candidate, a gum lift will be complete transformative for your smile!
Once there are veneers on the teeth, they will need to have some type of covering on them. You can do Invisalign WITH the veneers if you like, though. Teeth can still be moved with veneers. Once they have had something bonded to the surface, they cannot be left unexposed.
