I have always been skeptical about cosmetic surgery, no matter how uninvasive it is. I have always had an under developed chin and have been very self conscious about my profile view. I took a very unsteady step and had a consultation with Dr. Hu. She let me know exactly where I needed definition and how she was going to correct it. She is very knowledgeable and let's you know exactly what you need to look natural and beautiful.. she did a beautiful, pain free procedure.. her whole office was so gracious and welcoming it was like walking into a family.. the entire experience was wonderful.
Dr. Hu was very professional at all times and made me feel very comfortable during the entire visit. She was very thorough in explaining every step. I felt relaxed at the end of my visit after walking in very anxious.
Dr. Hu is Amazing!!! She is highly informative and really knows how to make a patient feel comfortable through the Kybella treatment process. I have had one treatment and can tell a HUGE difference already! I can't wait for the final results!
I had a great experience. Dr. Hu made me feel safe and informed before, during, and after my treatment. Loving my results, I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone considering facial plastic surgery!
Truly horrible experience with Dr. Hu! She did a deviated septum repair with some minor cosmetic correction. After a long recovery and excessive amount of follow up office visits I could still not breathe out of one side (still deviated and now a weakened valve). I had to have 2 additional office procedures to try to remove random loose cartilage pieces that could be seen and felt and another surgery to try repair the left nostril so it doesn't close when I breathe. This surgery was also unsuccessful and left me with a horrible droop on the left nostril and now there is a chunk of cartilage that can be felt moving and 'catching' when I move my nose. This has been an awful experience that is going to cost a lot to have repaired. She has always wanted to wait and stall and seemed to lack confidence in her ability to fix it, and obviously I shared that feeling. I was not paying any additional money to let her try since it was already such a mess. This whole experience has had a horrible impact on my self esteem and comfort. I'm so much worse off than before. So after 3 years and 4 total procedures (2 of them general surgery), I am left with a horribly unnatural shaped nose and severely drooping nostril. I'd do anything to go back to before she touched it. I thought it was just a simple fix. If only I had looked further for more reviews and before and after photos. Please learn from my mistake and be sure to do thorough research, because once it's done wrong, it's extremely complicated and costly to repair.
From the single photograph provided, it appears that the lower one-half of the nose is proportionately wider. I believe a rhinoplasty that narrows the bulbosity of the tip, brings in the flare of the nostrils, narrows the base of the nose would provide a more refined, balanced nose.
It is not unusual for non-Caucasian skin types to develop hyperpigmentation in the process of healing. That is why is so important to avoid sun exposure in the first few months of healing. If this is the result of sun exposure, the darkened spot may not return. If sun has been avoided, there is a chance for improvement over time. I typically wait a full year before revising reconstructions unless they are disfiguring (causing emotional distress) or causing some kind of physical impairment. I would recommend a local flap as well for better skin match. There is still the same risk after revision for darkening of the incisions, though not the entire flap with sun exposure.
It appears that the septum has been displaced from the bony nasal spine where it normally sits. This typically requires a septoplasty to repair. If the cartilage has been so damaged that it no longer provides adequate support of the nasal tip, you may require cartilage grafts (typically taken from the septum) to rebuild support. Septoplasty may be covered by insurance if you are experiencing breathing issues through the nose. If there is a persistent hole from the piercing, this would also require repair with possible local flaps. So, depending on the severity of the damage, your insurance coverage, the costs would vary significantly. I suggest you be evaluated by a facial plastic surgeon.
Kybella may be strategically placed in areas of fullness to thin out the jaw line and neck. It is important the injector is very familiar with facial anatomy and where the marginal mandibular nerve, facial artery and vein course to avoid injury to these structures. Novathreads are an absorbable suture placed under the skin to provide suspension of the jowls and neck. These procedures are performed in clinic with just a little local anesthesia. The threads may be repeated once a year to continue to provide the desired suspension.
I think you have a very beautiful, feminine look. You are young, have supple cheeks, nice angular chin and a great facial frame. I would not advise you to have any fillers based on this single picture as you run a higher risk of distorting your face with unnecessary fillers. Although difficult to make a complete assessment with a single frontal view, a tip rhinoplasty may be a better option for you. Refining the nasal tip from a more rounded appearance to a slightly more angular and defined appearance may provide just enough dimension that you are looking for.
