Got this tattoo in 2012 from an amateur artist. Thankful to be in the process of removing. Each session will be $550. Had the numbing cream on for 30mins prior to laser and was no help with pain relief. Dr recommended having it on at least an hour or preferably an hour and a half prior to laser. Setting for the red ink was basically like getting a tattoo. However the setting for black ink felt like someone was pricking me the tip of a knife at a 100 miles per second. It was tolerable, but hot damn I can only imagine how to would feel to remove a black ink tattoo in a more sensitive spot.
