Hallo, ich komme aus Deutschland, und habe mich entschieden, meine Nasenoperation bei Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emre Dinç in Istanbul durchführen zu lassen – und ich kann von ganzem Herzen sagen: Es war eine der besten Entscheidungen meines Lebens. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft in Istanbul wurden meine Begleitperson und ich wie vereinbart vom Flughafen abgeholt und bequem zum Hotel gebracht. Alles war perfekt organisiert und lief reibungslos. Am darauffolgenden Tag hatte ich meinen ersten Termin in der Praxis. Wir wurden herzlich von der Assistentin Beyza empfangen, die uns vom ersten Moment an das Gefühl gegeben hat, in besten Händen zu sein. Sie hat uns ins Krankenhaus begleitet, wo die Blutabnahme stattfand, und jede einzelne Frage geduldig und ausführlich beantwortet. Auch dort verlief alles sehr professionell. Nach dem Termin wurden wir wieder ins Hotel gebracht. Am nächsten Morgen hatte ich mein Beratungsgespräch mit Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emre Dinç. Schon nach wenigen Minuten war mir klar: Ich habe den richtigen Arzt gewählt. Die Krankenschwestern haben auch mit ihr kommuniziert, sie über alle Schritte informiert und sie nie außen vor gelassen. Auch für sie war die Betreuung einfühlsam und professionell – das hat mir zusätzlich Sicherheit gegeben. Nach der OP kam Dr. Dinç vorbei, um zu sehen, wie es mir geht. Er hat mir genau erklärt, wie ich die Medikamente einnehmen soll, worauf ich achten muss und wie die nächsten Tage ablaufen werden – nicht nur mir, sondern auch meiner Begleitperson. So wusste sie ebenfalls über alles Bescheid. Während meines gesamten Aufenthalts wurde ich regelmäßig vom Team kontaktiert. Sie haben sich nach meinem Zustand erkundigt, gefragt, ob ich Hilfe benötige, und standen jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Auch nach der Entlassung aus dem Krankenhaus wurden wir wieder ins Hotel gebracht und dort erneut kontaktiert, um sicherzugehen, dass es uns gut geht. Wieder wurde ich ausführlich beraten und freundlich empfangen. Der letzte Kontrolltermin war dann ein ganz besonderer Moment: Die Nasenschiene wurde entfernt. Natürlich war meine Nase zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch stark angeschwollen, was völlig normal ist. Aber selbst mit dieser Schwellung konnte ich schon erkennen, wie schön das Ergebnis sein wird. Ich habe direkt gesehen, dass die Form genau so ist, wie wir es geplant hatten. Dr. Dinç erklärte mir, dass die Nase in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten noch weiter abschwillt und sich das endgültige Ergebnis erst später zeigt – aber ganz ehrlich: Selbst mit der Schwellung war meine Nase bereits wunderschön. I had an operation with Dr. Dinc 1 week ago, and despite the swelling, so far Im very happy with my results. Dr. Dinc and his team have been nothing but amazing since the first time I have made contact. I had such an incredible experience with Dr. Dinc. Everything from his assistants to scheduling to the consultation to surgery was flawless. I had a very complicated and severe case. I had a very deviated septum which made my nose very crooked and I couldn’t breathe at all. I also had a very big nose with a bulbous tip and it was droopy and had a huge hump. Dr. Dinc beautifully came up with the best possible nose for me based on my features and what would look best but still very natural. He was very honest about expectations and his surgical technique is AMAZING! He is SO good. This is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I never write reviews for anything online. No restaurant reviews, no product reviews on Amazon, nothing, but I do have to write something for Dr. Dinc here! I did a lot of research regarding Turkish ENT/Facial Plastics nose doctors online before going to Istanbul due to the complexity of male rhinoplasty being the single hardest procedure in facial plastic surgery. Numerous things about Dr. Dinc stood out (in no particular order). He published numerous long term results of his male rhinoplasty patients on his instagram page and website. The reviews here on realself and instagram. The reviews on Reddit. Several reviews from talking with his previous patients. His academic background and papers regarding rhinoplasty. His Youtube videos. His extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty surgeries for patients cleaning up other doctors' errors (these are more complex than primary surgeries) His relative lack of marketing compared to other Turkey doctors. (This is a good thing! I wanted someone with tremendous passion for the craft rather than just marketing skill and solely looking to make money from foreign patients) My problem was I had a rare high septal deviation (to the right) before surgery and he completely straightened out my severely deviated septum. By doing so, he brought more balance and symmetry to my face. My tip is 100 % masculine. It is strong, defined and offers a solid profile from both sides. There is no uplifted part to it or feminine appearance which you see with some surgeons for men's rhinoplasty (both in Turkey and in the U.S.) . When I came back from Istanbul people react to me knowing that something has absolutely changed to my appearance but they don't quite know what. They thought I was crazy for going out of the country for this procedure. Now they think I'm a genius! It is a stunningly natural (and more masculine) result by Dr. Dinc which is exactly what I wanted. Before I could barely breathe out of my left nostril, my breathing is now uniform and crisp from both sides now. I believe my mucosa is still healing and my already improved breathing should improve further with time. It is as if the man is a wizard! The care was terrific from him and his staff. He is a very kind and caring man, fully invested in the art of rhinoplasty and his patients. He even offered me a third followup appointment (for no charge) after surgery where I typically was supposed to receive only 2 because I was staying in Istanbul a bit longer than many of his patients. If you are looking for a Turkish nose surgeon from abroad in the U.S., Canada or any other country and are hesitant to visit Turkey I would say absolutely contact Dr. Dinc and proceed from there! The whole process was very well organised, from the airport pick-up to everything else. Dr. Dinc is an expert of his field, very knowledgeable and also a very pleasant person, his team was also very nice. He fixed my crooked nose, deviated septum and gave me a natural looking nose that fits my face perfectly. Greetings from İstanbul; Rhinoplasty surgery prices may vary depending on many factors. I perform my surgeries with closed and preservative techniques due to minimize edema, maximize healing and prevent tissue damage. The price for this operation is between 2000 and 3500 Euro. As far as I have observed, the factor that affects the price the most is in which country the surgery will be performed. Because both life and surgery costs vary widely by country. These costs are much more affordable in Istanbul compared to the worldwide level. The lower the price of surgery in an area does not mean that the treatment will be worse. On the contrary, lower costs and higher demand can lead to more surgical experience. I think it is one of the main reasons for the increasing demand from many parts of the world, even distant continents. The other factors determining rhinoplasty prices are; size of the procedure to be performed, Hospital preference and Doctor preference. THE SIZE OF THE PROCEDURE TO BE PERFORMEDOne of the important criteria determining the rhinoplasty surgery prices are the procedures to performed in the nose of the patient. Rhinoplasty surgery prices vary according to the characteristics such as the duration and difficulty of the intervention to be made in the nose. Different surgeries may be performed in a broad spectrum from a simple minimally invasive surgery like rasping a small nasal hump to revision and complex cases such as saddle nose deformity requiring removing cartilage from rib or ear. The difficulty, duration and the experience required for the surgery can increase the price of the surgeries. HOSPITAL PREFERENCEThe second factor determining the rhinoplasty price is hospital preference. The price demanded from each hospital is different. My advice to our patients in this matter is to choose the hospital among the options that your doctor will offer you. Because there are hospitals where the doctors are accustomed, feel more comfortable, feel like at home, know their staff and are sure that the care of their patient will be done well with their quality in nursing and patient care services. And your doctor performing the surgery in an environment where he/she will feel at ease is an important factor increasing the success of your surgery. Additionally, most surgeons perform their surgeries with their own surgical sets and place these sets in certain hospitals. More specialized instruments are required especially for closed rhinoplasty surgeries and it is not always possible to perform closed surgeries with the surgical set of any hospital. For this reason, I want to place my surgical sets in hospitals with different price alternatives and perform my rhinoplasty surgeries of first priority in these hospitals. Also, postoperative patient care and hospitality services of hospitals can also have an impact on the price. Hello, thank yu for your question. The most important thing to be aware of in patients with thin skin is that all surfaces under the skin should be extremely smooth. All roughnesses and protrusions are immediately felt under the skin and can be seen from the outside in thin patients. When the nasal hump removed by simply cutting or rasping (we call this opening of the nasal roof), sharp edges or protrusions may form. For this reason, in our practice, we prefer the "Preservation Rhinoplasty" technique, which is a very up-to-date Closed Technique in patients with thin skin in recent years. This technique has two important differences that work very well for patients with thin skin; 1. The most typical difference of Preservation Rhinoplasty technique is about the adjustment of the nasal hump. In this technique, the nasal hump is not adjusted rasping or making incision. When we look at the anatomy of the nose, roughly the upper 1/3 of the nose consists of bone and the lower 2/3 consists of cartilage. So, one part of the nasal hump is bone and the other part is cartilage. In this technique, incisions are made all over the nasal bone, the bone is lowered as a whole and the nose hump is fixed. The purpose here is to adjust the nasal hump without disrupting the naturalness of the nasal dorsum. Since the dorsum of the nose is not opened at all, protrusions that will cause problems for thin skin do not occur. Even the nasal hump can be corrected without any elevation of the nasal skin from the nasal dorsum.2. In preservation rhinoplasty, nasal skin and subcutaneous tissues are removed from the deepest plan; that is, through entering under the cartilage membrane. In this way, all the soft tissues in the nose stay above and the trauma exposure decreases. In the surgery which is much more efficient both in aesthetic and functional terms, veins, nerves, and soft tissues suffer much less damage. While the bleeding level decreases, less swelling, bruising occurs, the tissues heal faster, breathing problems can be eliminated and skin vitality is better preserved in the surgery. As the tissues are elevated from the deepest plane (subperichondrial plane), the perichondrium also covers the entire structure at the end of the surgery and helps camouflage in thin skin patients. In the video, you can watch a very thin-skinned patient with preservation rhinoplasty before and 2 weeks after surgery. As you can see in the video, the postop recovery of preservation rhinoplasty is very fast.

This operation usually characterized as a daily operation, you do not have to stay in the hospital, you can be discharged on the same day. For this reason, you can return to your daily life very quickly.
In all rhinoplasty techniques, there is some descend at the tip of the nose after surgery, but the amount of descend at the tip of the nose is related to the surgical technique.The main difference between closed and open rhinoplasty techniques is not the incision in the columella. Absence of skin incision is one of the advantages of closed rhinoplasty surgeries, but it is not the most important one! There is a ligament system in the nose and these ligaments connects the tip cartilages together by without disturbing the flexibility of the nasal tip. In surgeries performed by disrupting this ligament system, an accumulation in nasal tip cartilages, a decrease in the height of the nasal tip, i.e. dropping in the nasal tip may occur. To be able to control this loss of height and to raise the nasal tip, mostly it is needed to put additional cartilage pieces (grafts) on the nasal cartilages in most patients.In a natural nose, nasal tip cartilages create contours under the nasal skin, showing the light and shadows that exist in human nature. However, grafts placed on the tip of the nasal cartilages cause these lights to disappear, the nasal tip to be distorted and nasal tip to become unnatural in visual terms. Therefore, this ligament system plays a critical role in the formation of the aesthetic details inherent in the nature of the nose. As these ligaments better preserved in closed rhinoplasty, there is slightly descend in the tip and there is no need to place additional cartilage pieces on them and therefore it is possible to preserve the aesthetic details.I perform open and closed technique according to the condition of the patient. However, while determining the technique according to the need of the patient, closed technique has a priority in my treatment algorithm.
