I’ve always been on the bustier side. Ever since elementary school ive had to wear bras. I happened to gain up to 185lbs and lost 75lbs when in high school. I’ve maintained my weight until recently that I gained about 15lbs due to Covid. Needless to say, in 2019 I went to a PS which last minute called and cancelled my already scheduled surgery. It wasn’t until I met with my current PS. He answered my questions concerns and was very patient with me. My first consult was online then had an in-person appointment and set up my surgery for March 10. I’m 1 day post op right now Updated on 13 Mar 2021: Day 3. Swelling present. Nipples are very swollen. Shooting pain and it’s still very difficult to get out of bed in the mornings. My PS recommended not using a bra yet due to inflammation being mayor. I use to be a 34D prior to surgery. Don’t know my bra size right now. I got a breast lift with 135cc on my right boob and 155cc on left. Updated on 18 Mar 2021: Swelling has decreased significantly. Tomorrow I have my appointment to remove the tape and external stitches. I’ll update a pic of the stitches. They seem to be healing well the one on the bottom of my right boob opened up a bit and bled. I know this is a long process but I can’t wait to finally heal up these wounds. Updated on 18 Mar 2021: I’m a little concerned if this is normal. I’m one week post op. My stitches for removed. I see the incisions looks raised. I’m putting neoaporin. I’m concerned I worn heal or scar nicely. I also notice that the left breast was the bigger breast of mine which has the smaller implant but I see myself in the mirror and my boob looks strange Updated on 19 Mar 2021: I sent my PS picture updates on my incision since he’s from out of town and he says I’m healing well. I’m still a little concerned with the possibility of having a capsular contraction on my right breast since it’s very painful. I’m hoping self massages will ease that and let the implant drop and fluff with time. Prayers for a speedy recovery! Updated on 19 Mar 2021: I’ve been wearing my bra ever since I went to my PS for the weekly check up visit to get my sutures out. I decided to do my rehúsame daily wound cleaning and sleep without it. I cleansed it and covered it with centenella asiática? My dads nurse gf told me to use it, so I decided to trade it off foe neosporin. Does anyone know if it or used it? It’s known as Gotu Kola it’s a homeopathic remedy to reduce scar and keloid scarring. Do my incisiones look like they’re going to get keloid looking? I’m still hoping they’re going to close and heal nicely Updated on 20 Mar 2021: I wanted to compare side by side what the before and after result of my breast lift looked like. Here’s product! Still cannot believe I underwent the surgery. I backed out of one two years ago and here I am now, almost at the a year mark since the pandemic hit with lifted breast that I never had in my life. To whomever is doubting a breast lift surgery, don’t! Find a PS surgeon that makes you feel comfortable and confident about their work and Ethic! Seriously life changing decision Updated on 21 Mar 2021: It’s officially day 11 since the surgery. My right breast was significantly painful 3 days ago and today it’s been well. I have minimal pain on both sides of my breast and now I’m taking care of wounds. I’m cleaning them twice a day. I don’t think there’s need for neosporin really because the one open stitch I had has healed and is no longer bleeding. I’m putting a homeopathic powered on my incisions after cleaning them and they seem to be helping with the redness and inflammation. Still very hopeful they will heal and the scarring will be minimal. We will see. I’ll keep updating daily pics if not then I’ll post one next week. Updated on 24 Mar 2021: Here’s a picture of my vertical incisions. It’s exactly 2 weeks and the wounds have flattened out and the redness has also decreased. I’m hoping they’ll keep fading out with time. The right breast had the open stitch and it seems to be healing very well. Overall happy with the results. I have an appt with my PS in a week. Will keep you guys updated if anything else comes up. Updated on 3 Apr 2021: It’s been almost 4 weeks I have 4 more days to complete the month since my surgery. I have an appointment with my PS this upcoming Wednesday and the wounds seem to be closed at this point. I’m putting on a lotion called Kitocell to vanish the incision markings and hopefully scar nicely. I do feel like my right nipple looks weird compared to my left one but I know that breast won’t ever look perfect and overall I’m happy with the results. I can’t compare my new boobies to the saggy ones with ptosis 3 I had a month ago! Also, can’t wait to have a green light to go workout. I haven’t gained weight but I’ve lost muscle mass. I feel it in my flabby arms. :( If anyone has any advice as to how silicone sheets helped out let me know! I have the tape but would like input on what brand to buy. Updated on 12 Apr 2021: Im about to complete week 5 of my surgery. It’s been rough since I use to workout everyday but the fact that I can now wear shirts I could never wear before makes me feel all this process was well worth it. As per recovery - I get these weird pricking sensations to my nipples sometimes. I’ve noticed that my left nipple has regained sensation quicker then the right. I also have minor pAin when I raise my arms so I try to avoid that. I’ve been sleeping on my side now. My scars look like they’re not as swollen and now it’s just a fine red line I see.
Such an amazing doctor!!! Very professional, attentive and caring. He resolved every doubt I had. I felt no pain at all, my recovery was really fast and I was surprised that I never had bruises on my face as I heard from some acquaintances it was ‘normal’ to get bruises. I’m more than happy to have chosen him for my rhinoplasty. I could not find a better doctor!! I wish I would’ve known him before, when I did my breast augmentation. The other surgeon was nothing like Dr Maximiliano. This time my experience was by far so much better. Well, He will definitely be my surgeon for future work. I totally recommend him 100%.
