Let me begin by saying I cut myself and stopped cutting over 10 years ago. My scars are hypopigmented or white, mostly flat but a few raised, I tried Mederma & silicone patches to no avail. Dr. Mathew Avram is outrageously overpriced—$575 for Botox—and gives a false promise of free touch-ups. I confirmed ahead that I could get a free touch-up, took time off work, only to be told within 30 seconds it would cost an extra $275. No examination, just pure money grab. As a physician, I find his greed and unprofessionalism appalling. Avoid him if you want honesty and care.
