33 Years Old Starting Accutane (Zenatane) Omaha, NE

I am just staring Zenatane 40mgs, once per day. I have persistent acne that scars, and every topical and antibiotic I have been on has not helped. I have been dealing with acne since I was 15. I have been seeing a dermatologist and he recommended I start accutane. He said I would be a great candidate and I trust his medical advice. I would describe my acne as cystic, most of it is under the skin and hurt like crazy. I've got oily skin and this is even after using benzoyl peroxide. My skin, the texture, the look is in bad shape. It doesn't look healthy. I eat really clean, I stick to a paleo diet, and my hormones according to my OB are fine. Yes it could be stress related, but I really try not to. Anyone who is going through this, you're not alone. I appreciate everyone who has posted on this site and has encouraged and shared their journey with us. Its very helpful:)
