I'm sharing my experience of an FUE hair transplant I had with Dr Magee two years ago as well completing PRP treatment sessions recently. I thought to wait till everything is done before sharing my story. I was very young when I first started losing my hair (about 20yo) and it was making me quite unhappy. I still remember how upsetting it was seeing myself grow old having barely left my teens. I began wearing a cap to hide it each time I was going out. By the age of 25 you could already see my crown, and my hairline was making me look like I was 15 years older. When I decided to have a fue hair transplant, I started searching for good clinics and had consultations with several surgeons. I Discovered that I had a good donor area and needed about 3000 grafts to have the density that I wanted. I opted for Dr Matee Ullah from Harley Street because I had the oportunity to meet one of his patients and I was really impressed by his results. It has been 2 years now from my procedure. I had 4 PRP sessions since and I have to say that opting for Dr Matee as my surgeon has been a life changing decision for me. The new hair has helped get my confidence and self esteem back and can carry on focusing on things that are really important to me. The team that looked after me at harley street were very accommodating to me and were available to answer any questions I had. Im very glad I chose to have my surgery by Dr Matee, I can appreciate now why he is one of the most in-demand hair surgeons in the country. In August 2016 I had a hair transplant with dr Matee. My hairline had receded to my crown and having a bug head naturally, the lack of hair amplified the 'big bald headed' look. Wasn't nice viewing to be honest. I had two consultations in Dublin and one at Ziering in London. I was told I needed between 4000 and 4500 grafts plus to get reasonable density. The price quoted ranged from £7500 - £13000 which seemed a lot of money in order to achieve 'reasonable density'. In addition, both clinics were reluctant to do the procedure in a single day. Following consultation with Dr Matee and his team, I agreed to undergo a hair transplant procedure. I had a 2600 grafts FUE procedurein August 2016. The operation went by smoothly and from an 9am start, I was ready to go home by 5pm. I bumped my head getting into the hotel taxi the next day, thankfully it did not cause a bleed and nor did I lose any grafts. I live in Dublin so it was not possible to attend regular reviews (which were available to me at any point), I have done most of my consultations via video conference calling and been in constant communication with the team to monitor my progress. I am delighted with my hair line, it is ideal for my age and the density is great, all the way back to my crown. I can't thank Dr Matee and his team enough, it has been a life changing experience. I hope to visit soon for my PRP treatments to support my existing hair around my crown.

Dr Matee did my FUE procedure in December 2016. I was 37 at the time and going through a tough time in my personal life. Weight gain, hair loss and loss of confidence had me looking 5-10 years older than I actually was. I had consultations on Harley street with various clinics and was surprised that Dr Matee agreed to see me during my initial consultation. None of the other Harley street clinics offered me to speak with the surgeon who would end up doing my surgery. I had an FUE procedure, 2850 grafts with 1 PRP session 4weeks after my initial consultation. Follow-up care was regular contact via telephone and email (many questions and answers) with 1 post-op review in person. I was delighted with the procedure and the results have been great. It has given me the stimulus to rebuild my life emotionally and physically. Having got a more youthful hairline and with 5months of gym behind me I have got my confidence back. Am optimistic about life and myself again, something I thought I would never be able to get back. For that I thank Dr Matee and his team. On the day of surgery I was afforded plenty of time to ask questions, make adjustments to my hairline to my satisfaction (I was very picky but at no point was I made to feel I was being difficult). Food provided to me was great, I was able to watch films and listen to music throughout. The only uncomfortable (minor) part of the procedure was the initial anaesthetic injections at the back of the head, the head was numb pretty quickly and the rest of the day went smoothly. I forgot to add, I foolishly forgot to arrange for someone to drive me home because I lived in London, so the clinic manager arranged an UBER for me to be dropped off. My PRP treatment was booked a month later at my convenience and I believe that has helped to strengthen my existing hair as well supporting my new transplanted hair. I had a very pleasant experience and will be forever thankful to Dr Matee and his team.

Had a hair transplant 18months ago at British hair clinic, been told I had 1750 grafts but not sure as I only had one surgeon. Not best pleased with the results still looks very thin and the hairs look like they are growing all different angles. Been told by the dr I need another transplant at a cost of £1500 not sure what to do
