Amazing! I have been a patient of Dr. Mikhail's for years with pretty bad acne. She has always given me the best treatment that no other dermatologist has even come close to and the results have been amazing. Now that my skin has cleared up, she suggested using the Palomar Icon for acne scar removal. I simply cannot stop raving about this treatment. I've had some pretty serious pock marks and deep acne scars from when I was a teenager but after only one treatment, I have noticed a significant difference. My friends and family can tell a difference, it also seems to have really evened out my complexion and for the first time pretty much ever, I am going to work without foundation on. I feel that confident in my skin now! The procedure itself takes only a few minutes, it's about as painful as a getting a tattoo, perhaps slightly a little more painful. For pain, pre-procedure I was given a topical numbing cream and during the procedure a lovely medical assistant uses a cool air machine simultaneously while the Dr. uses the laser. The results are pretty much instant. Now after two treatments I can see an incredible difference in my skin. The scars are barely there, my skin tone is much more even, and my skin is ridiculously smooth and soft. I've honestly never seen it like this before. I thought it was important to write this review as there are so many poor ones on here about this procedure. Perhaps I got lucky and it really worked for me but don't be discouraged by the negative reviews. I wish I'd taken before photos to show you just how bad it was but here are some afters.
