I had Ultherapy approx. 6 months ago to my lower face and neck. WOW! What a difference. I have a defined jawline again. My neck is not crepey or saggy anymore. My friends AND HUSBAND think I look 10 years younger.....and I couldn't agree more!
Excellent! Had Bellafill 2x spaced 3 years apart (yes, it lasted that long!). She is an artist. I look youger now than I did 10 years ago. I do not know why anyone would use fillers that do not last. I had used Juvederm in the past, and liked the look, but it did not last longer than 6-7 months. I am very pleased with my results and took my best friend there for the same. She is ecstatic with her look.
I was slowly losing my cheeks. I looked tired all the time and had weird indents under my eyes on my cheeks. After reading reviews on here I decided to get voluma to plump back up my cheeks. The results were immediate. I got 2 syringes and liked the results the best the day of/after since there was still some swelling. I knew I would need more to get the results I was looking for. I went back again today 10/27/14 for a 3rd syringe. I also got a syringe of artefil under my eyes. I'll write a separate review on that. This time I got the voluma injected into my temples to lift my face up. I'm a little bit sore this time. The dr uses the cannula technique.
I normally have uneven eyebrows. My left one sits and arches higher than my right. I like to get Botox to even them out, and usually need 2 extra units above the left. I warned dr mash before the injection but my left is still spiking. She did say to come back if they were uneven so I will be returning. I do prefer dysport, but she offers groupons for Botox. You can't beat the price. I find that Botox wears off quicker and doesn't kick in as fast as dysport. She has an awesome technique, and it's the least painful injection I have received. Updated on 20 Aug 2014: The one eyebrow is starting to even out. I didn't need to go back. Dysport is way quicker. I need to learn to wait for the Botox to kick in.
My H.S was very painful.
I had tumescent lipo of the inner thighs yesterday and already I can see the results and am so happy!I had a baby 3 months ago and all the weight I gained seemed to be on my inner thighs. At 3 months postpartum I was at my pre-pregnancy weight and could not get into a single pair of pants because of the weight on my my legs. 1 day after having lipo I could fit into several pairs and as the swelling goes down, I'm sure most of the other ones will fit as well. I am an avid runner and of average weight (5'6" 130lbs).The procedure was well worth the money and aside from the drainage, it wasn't bad at all and I felt nothing during the entire procedure.
I went to Marlene Mash for a consult a few years ago for juvederm under my eyes. It was the first time I ever had anything done to my face. I had hollows and bags under my eyes and she suggested juvederm to file out the under eye area. It was the biggest mistake I ever made! She over filled them and I had to go to work a couple days later with black and blue eyes! It stayed swollen for nearly a year. I believe it was infected. I went back to her and she tried to pacify me by giving me a tube of triluma. She said it would lighten my dark circles. I was more concerned about the swelling! It impaired my vision for months until some of the juvederm dissolved on its own. I don't know how this doctor stays in business. Be very wary of this doctor.
Briefly, it was a complete disaster. Procedure was for filler injections of both eye sulci with Juvederm. Procedure seemed to be rushed and sulci were overfilled and disproportionate. Ended up with unsightly ridges and severe bruising over my cheeks. Should never have done it. Just hope that in a year or two my face will return to normal.
We are lucky to have so many great dermal fillers available to us. I have success with all of the popular fillers, and each filler has its own benefits. Several patients who are undecided about their desired results opt for the less permanent fillers. Most return for the more permanent Bellafill.
I am sorry that you feel that your wonderful results have not lasted and that you feel your adverse effects were caused by the Bellafill injections. There are treatment options for you, but I am recommending you visit a reputable and experienced Bellafill dermatologist so that he/she can determine the right treatment for you.
My patients have seen great results. And their results last for a year or more and the 'scaffolding' resulting from the PMMA works with the collagen to actually soften and smooth acne scars immediately. Over time, your body develops its own collagen for longer-lasting effects.
