Hello,I'm sorry to hear that the artificial tooth fell off of your bracket. Because these artifical teeth do not have the same properties as a natural tooth, many times the brackets have a more difficult time staying glued to them. Do not worry, the bracket will be removed from the wire at your next visit and will be replaced as necessary. Now that the tooth has fallen off, be cautious not to bite down on any hard or crunchy foods in that area; doing so may bend the wire.Rest assured that you'll be back to normal again after your next visit!
Hello,It's common for teeth to shift after braces are removed before retainers are delivered. These teeth will return to the correct position once you receive your retainers. Even though your orthodontist has moved your teeth into their ideal position, the ligaments holding your teeth to your jaw bones are still stretched. Your retainers will assist in holding your teeth while these ligaments stabilize into their new position. Be sure to adhere to your orthodontist's recommendations regarding retainer wear to ensure your teeth continue to look great.Remember, retainers are just as important as braces in maintaining your smile!
