You can start moving the teeth with Invisalign or braces, usually within 5-7 days. The teeth move faster after an extraction.

You may want to discuss with your orthodontist surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion to widen your upper jaw first. This may be more stable to avoid relapse again. If your selling is over the phone, then for least worries, consider traditional braces.  If you are working with clients, then  Invisalign should be easier to speak with. Most all of my speak normally in two days with Invisalign and two weeks with lingual braces. 

There are many options you can discuss with your orthodontist, such as: interproximal stripping, distalization of the back teeth to make room to sraighten the front teeth with TADs or mini-plates. There are also many options to close the open-bite.

The retainer should move the tooth. Ease into it though... you do not have to seat it completely at first.

You may want to consult with your orthodontist to  have 3D imaging done of your lower anterior teeth to see if the roots are advancing out of the bone. This can cause gum recession rapidly. Also, you may have a frenum pull, which can cause recession. If so, you may want to look into a Wilkodontic technique treatment to help resolve this issue during your invisalign treatment.
