I purchased my LaserCap from Dr. DiStefano back on August 15, 2017 and was excited to get it home to start using it. I have NOT looked back, it has been unbelievable to use and the Customer Service that I received from the manufacturer was even better. They called me back on a Sunday and spoke to a very nice man (Derrick), who assisted with the charging of the cap. My hair has grown and continues to get thicker. BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET and the QUALITY GREAT job LaserCap!

I have a receding hairline and I needed to do address it in order to feel better about myself as a trans woman. The initial consult made me comfortable going with this practice. I had consulted another prominent hair transplant doctor in the Boston area and I was very disappointed. The practice of Dr. DiStefano told me exactly how many hair they needed to transplant to achieve the new hairline I was looking for. They drew the new hairline to make sure I was comfortable with it. They also gave me a very competitive price. I am posting pictures of the day of procedure (before and after), ten days and six months after the procedure. I met with the surgeon in May of last year. At the office meeting my age was never brought the procedure was excruciating. At five months I remember with Dr Destifano at that meeting he stated my age was reason I am not getting any significant hair regrowth I am devastated would avoid Updated on 14 Feb 2017: I met with the doctor I suffer from. low tester one their office was so nice they are willing to. do the entire process on March 1st 20017 at no charge I am totally happy with this Updated on 14 Feb 2017: Hey I am totally humiliated that I had given DISTIFANO Hair Restoration a poor rating when in actuality it was my own physical problem that caused the problem they are so nice I met with them last week they are going to redo the entire process at no charge! It left no scars was not really painful and it was my own physical condition that caused it to not work. Blame myself for low testosterone. Their office was outstanding they really care. Updated on 14 Feb 2017: To anyone considering a hair transplant please contact either Dr. Mark Distefano or Dr. Chris Heines either by phone or email and have your transplant. Their office will perform an igt taking one hair at a time and transfer it to, the donor site not only painless, but no scarring! In my case because I suffer from a testosterone deficiency and was at fault for not regularly taking Avodart my process has to be redone. I am so thankful because they will in two weeks redo it!

Doctors were nice enough, but I don't find they should be doing eyebrow transplants. They could be wonderful for regular hair transplants, but my experience with an eyebrow transplant was not great. For one, hairs were too thick and do not look like surrounding natural eyebrow hairs. I can actually pluck out the transplanted hairs easily, as I know they are way darker and thicker. Also, in some areas 2 or 3 hairs were placed in same follicle, which also looks very unnatural. A woman at their office had a transplant and then went on to get microblading, which leads me to believe her experience was not 100 percent success. If I could do this all over again, (which I won't) due to having to shave part of the back of my hair... I would go to Los Angeles and see Mark Dauer. I just think this goes beyond transplant knowledge and more of an aesthetic procedure. You should know how to shape brows perfectly and know what shape fits certain face shapes. I was explained to stencil out where I wanted the hair, this was daunting to me. Just everything about getting an eyebrow transplant I respectfully have to say I regret.

Friendly staff and really like the Dr.DiStefano and had high hopes but my results were very disappointing! I went back at about 8 months post op and was told that they would do it again if nothing grew so I waited and went back at the 15 months and when I was looked at again I was given a bunch of flyers with possible hair growth solutions since I was afraid to take propecia because of the side effects! It was safe to say that they were not going to redo the failed transplant once I read a new guarantee statement that said they would only do it again if you were taking the drug and your transplant still didn't grow! Right then and there I knew that was drawn up for me to cover themselves for their failure! I wasted thousands of dollars for poor results and they could care less!! I am still bald at the crown and i am still very thin on top!! I really don't understand what went wrong, or what is it that they did but as it is very demoralizing that so much money wasted and I still look the same ,maybe even worse than when I first went!!As a result I wear caps more often now and still use toppik, which is a hassle,messy and so time consuming it's annoying!! I'll definitely be seeking out a different Dr. for possible fix or second operation as I refuse to accept these poor results!!
