Adding material to the teeth can be accomplished by either direct bonding a tooth colored material to the tooth, or placing a porcelain veneer or crown. Regardless of the material, it is important to be sure that they are proportional to the remaining teeth. If there is space around the small tooth, closing the space may be all that's necessary. However, if there is not any space between the teeth, then orthodontics, or veneering several teeth may be necessary to achieve a natural look.
