Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Berkowitz and his entire staff. They thoroughly explained the process and set realistic expectations. It's been a year since the procedure and I'm so happy to have such great results!
Experience, procedure and results were way higher than I expected. Highly recommend. My eyebrows look amazing and gave me an entirely new and improved look. I loved the staff and especially the two ladies who helped me during my procedure.
Couldn’t be happier with my results. Everything went exactly how Dr. Berkowitz said it would. They answered every question I had and made me feel comfortable throughout, from the first call to my year follow.
I received Juvederm lip fillers by Dr. Berkowitz a while back, and wanted to go on to share my experience. I went to him, as a c lose friend of mine had seen him in the past and I loved her results. This was my first time coming in, and I'm overly thrilled with the results. I feel he did a fantastic job. He was able to give me a very natural look.
Dr. Berkowitz was a pleasure to work with. I've been struggling with hair loss for the longest time, and thought there was no hope. I feel he was very understanding, up front, explained things well. It's been a handful of months since I've seen him, and I'm seeing amazing results. I'm not disappointed in the slightest. I'd highly recommend him and the rest of his office staff.
Dr. Berkowitz and his staff, including Maria and the surgical team, were incredible. Although as a younger woman wanting a hair transplant, I wasn't (what I imagined) the typical patient, the environment was very welcoming. I was reassured about the thousands of female hair transplants Dr. Berkowitz has performed, and Maria answered my questions confidently and reassuringly. She worked with me with my budget, with no pressure of buying additional products or treatments. The surgical technician did a wonderful job of keeping me comfortable during the day of the procedure. Very professional, clean, and accommodating clinic - also very fast paced. Called on Thursday, had the consultation the very next day, and performed the transplant on the Tuesday following. I am only about 5 days post-op but am very excited for the results. No regrets at all!
Little to no pain or swelling my experience with Maria and Dr Berkowitz was top tier best money I couldve spent anybody suffering from thinning hair or receding hairlines like I was go see Dr B and get your confidence and swagger back
My experience with Dr. Berkowitz throughout the years, has always been positive. He always does a wonderful job. I've had him do my lips a few times, and I'm always thrilled with how things looks. He's able to give off a very natural look when it comes to my lips. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
After suffering from chronic telogen effluvium for over five years, I finally decided it was time (actually way past time) to look into PRP treatments for hair loss. Anyone dealing with chronic hair loss understands how self-conscious, anxious and depressing one can feel when dealing with this affliction . Exhaustively researching doctors, I decided on Dr. Berkowitz. After listening to him speak, I was hopeful that this treatment could work for me and was confident that I chose the right doctor. I received four consecutive monthly treatments and then prayed! Astonishingly, within the next couple of months my hair loss decreased dramatically and my crown area was feeling thicker. I wasn't sure if the thickening was wishful thinking as it had only been six months at this time, but after my hairstylist and a friend commented that my hair looked thicker, I was feeling more hopeful. Although after dealing with hair loss for so long, it was difficult for me to tell if it was new hair or hair breakage that has been going on for years. I was both apprehensive and excited for my next visit for confirmation and I was not disappointed. Dr. Berkowitz confirmed that it was new hair growth! His knowledge and experience is vast and I am happy and relieved knowing I'm in the best of hands. Everyone in the office has been wonderful and helpful every step of the way. It has been a positive, life-changing experience that surpassed my expectations.
Madison is wonderful it was such a pleasure to meet her. Her injections were Precise and no bruising! In the past I have only allowed Dr. Berkowitcz to inject me, then I met Madison his new PA My new go to girl.
Hello, thank you for your question. Our cosmetic nurse reviewed your case and states treating sun-damaged skin involves a combination of prevention, at-home care, and professional treatments depending on the severity of the damage. The first and most important step is prevention—daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is essential, even on cloudy days. Wearing protective clothing, such as hats and sunglasses, and avoiding peak sun hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. can also help prevent further damage. For mild sun damage, including dullness, dryness, and uneven tone, at-home treatments can be very effective. Ingredients like retinoids or retinol promote cell turnover and help smooth texture and fade discoloration. Vitamin C serums can brighten the skin and repair oxidative stress, while niacinamide helps reduce redness and even out skin tone. Gentle exfoliants like AHAs (e.g., glycolic or lactic acid) remove dead skin cells and improve radiance, while BHAs (e.g., salicylic acid) are useful if you're acne-prone. Hydrating moisturizers with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides can also help restore the skin barrier. For more moderate to severe sun damage, such as deep wrinkles, dark spots, and rough texture, professional treatments may be necessary. Chemical peels, laser therapies like fractional lasers or IPL (intense pulsed light), microneedling, and microdermabrasion can all improve tone, texture, and pigmentation with noticeable results. In some cases, prescription-strength retinoids such as tretinoin may be recommended for more aggressive skin repair. Supporting your skin from the inside out with a healthy, antioxidant-rich diet and staying well hydrated also contributes to long-term skin health. Overall, the best approach depends on your skin type and the extent of the damage, but a consistent skincare routine combined with preventive habits can significantly improve the appearance and health of sun-damaged skin.
Hello! Our nurse injector reviewed your question and states you do not have to take arnica when getting injections, but some people choose to use it as a way to help reduce bruising, swelling, or discomfort afterward. Arnica is a homeopathic remedy that’s commonly taken before and after cosmetic procedures, such as Botox or dermal fillers, in hopes of minimizing inflammation and bruising. It comes in several forms, including oral tablets and topical gels or creams. While many people report benefits, scientific evidence supporting arnica’s effectiveness is limited, and it may not work the same for everyone. Additionally, oral arnica—especially in high doses—can interact with certain medications or cause side effects, so it’s important to check with your doctor if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking blood thinners. In general, arnica is optional and not medically necessary for injections. Instead, most healthcare providers recommend avoiding alcohol, aspirin, and NSAIDs for a day or two before your appointment and applying a cold compress afterward to help reduce swelling and bruising. If you’ve used arnica in the past without any issues and found it helpful, it may be fine to continue, but it’s not required.
Hello, thank you for your question. Our nurse injector reviewed your case and states that a hydrafacial may temporarily relieve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles due to the skin being more hydrated. However, the anatomical concern is the descent of malar volume and lost collagen is the reason this is occurring. Microneedling and lasers can aid in the appearance of these fine lines.
Thank you for your question. It is true that a range of 3-6 sessions may be needed for lightening effects. Patients who are more compliant and consistently wear SPF and stay at their baseline colors have a higher rate of success with IPL treatments. IPL treatments vary in price depending on the area you are located.
Yes, Botox would help you relax your lip, making the gums of your mouth less apparent. Botox will temporarily reduce the movement of the upper lip, making the upper lip relax and causing less exposure of your gums. It is placed in the upper lip as well as the sides of the nose, in the pyriform, if needed.
