Dr Perrone is an exellent dentist. She has been my dentist for about a decade now. She has always taken good care of me and my family. She recently started using Botox and Juvederm in the office. She has a magic touch. I feel 10 years younger! My husband keeps complimenting me. I love it!! Not only that but my migraine pain has subsided as well. I haven't felt this good in years! All thanks to Dr Perrone
I have been living in fear and constant discomfort for at least 2 years. I neglected my teeth and always put off treatment until absolutely necessary. I finally decided that I needed to get past the fears and get on with my life. I was referred to Dr Perrone thru a friend of mine. She spoke extremely well of her and her office. After meeting Dr Perrone and her friendly staff I can understand why. She welcomed me as if she knew me for a long time and made me feel right at ease. SHe also let me be part of the process asking me what I needed or wanted out of my dental treatment. THat eased my fears and I knew I made the right choice. All of my treatment has been perfect and I could not be any happier.
I have always had a smile that I was not happy with. I could never get my teeth as white as I wanted due to some discolorations on them. They also were a little out of line which drove me crazy. I promised myself when I got a good job I would finally fix my teeth. Well finally got a promotion I was waiting for so I decided to begin my search for a great cosmetic dentist. Dr Perrine came highly recommended from a co worker.
I have always been self conscious about my smile. My front teeth were slightly out of alignment giving me a crooked smile and I felt it was holding me back at my job. I went to a few different dentists in town before choosing Dr Perrone. SHe was the only one who made me feel comfortable immediately.
I went to see Dr Perrone after years of discomfort. My sister has been a patient of Dr Perrone's for quite a few years. Dr Perrone is a sweet caring dentist who took her time going over all my options. Finally decided on 4 dental implants and a denture. The entire process was easy and am so grateful to Dr Perrone and her entire team. Highly recommend Dr Perrone!!!
I recently fractured 3 teeth from my own neglect. My fears kept me from going to dentist for a long time. A friend referred me to Dr Perrone as she deals with patients with dental fear. At my first visit she made me feel at ease and gave me a few options to fix my teeth. She spent about 40 minutes discussing all the options. I chosethe dental implant as I felt it was best for long term. Very gladI did.Entire procedure was a breeze.
I have been thinking about fixing my smile for years. I just turned 40 last year and decided it was time to treat myself to a new smile. I have always hated that my teeth were out of line and was always self conscious when I would smile. Dr Perrone was able to change all that in a few short visits..
Dr. Perrone is the consummate professional. She is caring, careful and brings the latest in dental knowledge to her patients. She recognizes the impact of good oral health on overall physical health and is always striving to educate her patients toward a better quality of life. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I have neglected my mouth for many years out of fear and knew I was probably destined for some sort of denture. I was referred to Dr Perrone by a friend who had been a long time patient of hers. At the initial meeting, Dr Perrone did a complete exam and we went over multiple options to restore my smile. She took the time to answer all my questions (about all the options as well as how much each option would cost) and I decided I would go with a complete set of dentures but with dental implants supporting them. The process from start to finish was quite quick and I am very happy with the final results. I especially loved that Dr Perrone asked for pictures of my smile from when I was younger so we could attempt to replicate my original smile. She got it just right.
I have been seeing Dr. Perrone for over 7 years now. She has always been more like family - she takes the time to get to know each person who walks through the door, treats each case with care and undivided attention, and is honest with options available that work for us. I recommend her to anyone I meet needing a dentist. Thank you Dr. Perrone!
Unfortunately, if you are unhappy with the color or translucency of your current porcelain veneers they will need to be redone. Those options cannot be changed at this point. Each and every dentist handles these cases differently. I would recommend you speak to your dentist and find out what the possible options are for you. Best of luck going forward.
If the tooth had a root canal you will not be in any pain with it off so in that sense there is no rush. But it is best to have it placed back on as soon as you can. A good tip is to use fixodent (denture adhesive) to place it back in yourself if you can. Sometimes the orientation makes it tricky but most times it it is easy to place back in yourself until you can see your dentist.
Yes, it looks like it should not be an issue. I would recommend seeing a well trained cosmetic dentist to ensure that the final produce will not only be esthetic but functional. The only issue I see from pictures is a possible lack of space and the degree of shifting of those central incisors. Porcelain crowns might also be an option if the teeth are too angled. Hard to see for sure from pictures given.
I would recommend seeing your dentist ASAP. It could be as simple as a loosened screw like you mentioned or something more serious. Some common issues that can occur include:1. Failed Integration of Dental Implants - This occurs when the bone does not grow and fuse between the threads of the implant. This fusion of bone to dental implant is called osseointegration. If this does not occur, the dental implants will not function properly, will become uncomfortable, become loose, or come out completely. To reduce this risk, your dental surgeon will evaluate the quality and density of the jaw bone prior to surgery. This will help to only place dental implants in areas where there is a highly predictable success rate. If osseointegration does not take place, the dental implants can be removed, and surgery can be attempted again once the area has fully healed.2. Infection – This is the most common complication of dental implant surgery. The surrounding bone and gums can get infected during the surgical procedure. This can happen due to non-sterile technique, a contaminated implant, poor healing ability(diabetic, smoker, osteoporosis medications), pre-existing infection. The most likely time for this to occur would be during the surgical placement of the dental implant into the bone. Implant infection is a condition referred to as peri-implantitis. Peri-Implantitis is characterized by inflammation or swelling of the tissues surrounding the implant area. Peri-implantitis can also present as a secondary infection later on is a form of periodontal disease that can lead to inflammation, bone loss and implant failure if not treated quickly and properly. Although implant infections are usually caused by the presence of bacteria during or immediately after the oral surgery for the placement of the dental implants, an implant infection can occur months or years after surgery.3. Damage To Surrounding Tissues - Dental implant complications related with surgical errors affecting adjacent teeth, nerves or sinus are directly correlated with the experience and skills of the dentist or surgeon. An experienced and skilled implant dentist is able to identify potential problems by examining x-rays or CT scan (computer tomography), design the proper surgical plan for ideal location and angle, and execute it successfully without complications. Even with the most skilled implant dentist there is always a possibility of dental implant complications. The complications can be limited by choosing an implant dentist with the skills and experience necessary to handle any complications if they arise.
Yes, the crown can be replaced quite easily. A well done implant crown should satisfy both esthetics and function requirements. A dental crown should look natural and no one should know it is even there. I would recommend a 2nd opinion in your area.
