As a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery, I was head of the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Malteser Hospital in Bonn until 2019. In order to have more time for you as patient and your plastic surgery concerns again, I now care for you in my private practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery in Cologne.

After intensive training in all areas of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, I specialized in body contouring and breast surgery. One of my main focuses is the treatment of lipedema by gentle WAL liposuction on the arms and legs. As a transition to my private practice, I completed two years of special training in facial plastic and aesthetic surgery at the Trinity Hospital in Wesseling, Germany, on the side.

I am scientifically active as a member of the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the world's largest society of plastic surgery specialists, as well as the Austrian and German Societies for Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

After graduating from medical school in Graz in 2004, I completed my training at the medical universities in Vienna, Innsbruck and Graz. Afterwards I worked as a senior physician at the University Hospital in Graz for three more years before I moved to Bonn and became chief physician.

As Chair of the Residents & Fellows Committee of ISAPS, I have been particularly involved in the education of younger colleagues and have established special programs, such as "Visit an ISAPS expert" and "ISAPS mentoring" for residents and associate members of this society, which is now open to residents in training.
I am pleased to offer the opportunity to participate in this great society from the beginning of a career in plastic surgery.
