I didn't choose Pacific Derm - my surgeon husband chose for me when I told him what I was wanting to do. This place is fabulous. I met with Dr.Marcie Ulmer - and my first thought when I met her was "oh wow, she must have just finished her residency" because she doesn't look a day over 30 AND ***she doesn't look "done"***. She told me how old she is - I won't reveal here.... you can find out yourself and pick your own jaw up off the floor. When a dermatologist or plastic surgeon sits in front of me and tells me about all the magic they can do through over filled lips and a frozen face..... that doesn't impress me. That's not the look that I want and it doesn't demonstrate skill and artistry. I want to look secretly fabulous - like maybe I made a deal with the devil to not age. I actually want my face and skin to be like Dr.Ulmer's - so in my consultation I actually told her that I want to do whatever she does. We reviewed my skin care regimen and tweaked it a little bit. I didn't feel like there was this massive product push on me. I don't like it when places try to sell me $110 pads in 2% salicylic acid. Pacific Derm does not do that at all. The regimen I'm on is a blend of medical grade skin care and drug store stuff. I ended up going with the Cutera laser(vascular laser) which is so magically effective. I have very very very fair skin and get little broken blood vessels and the Cutera zaps them away. I also had a treatment of Thermage. I am 10 weeks post treatment now, and I am seeing results.... I have been told to expect to see results keep developing for 6 months. Super happy - I've found my forever dermatologist.

For the record, this isn't the aesthetician's fault, I think the product is just inferior. My skin is even worse than it was before. Which I didn't think would be possible but now I feel like a fool for wanting to change what I had. I'm not sure what this Peel did to my skin but my acne has never been so bad. It's funny because that's what the Peel is supposed to fix. Nothing in my skin care regimen has changed except for getting the Peel and my skin has gotten so bad out of nowhere. My parents also mentioned to me that my youthful glow is gone. They said my skin looks leathery. I'm only 19 so this is concerning to say the least. This peel was incredibly painful and I definitely wouldn't do it again especially for the results I received. Feel free to message me for more pictures or questions. Updated on 25 Mar 2017: 1 month after the Vi Peel and it's caused me to have the worst cystic acne of my life. I would not recommend this to anyone. It sent the acne bacteria deep into my skin and I now have to be on accutane to fix the mess this stupid Peel caused. My skin looked so great in the before picture, I only wanted to fix blackheads. Now I get cysts the sizes of golf balls that are disfiguring my face. Please take this review into consideration. It's not worth it.
