I had a face lift by Dr. Zimbler several years ago and have never left a review. Just after the surgery my face looked beautiful. However, within 10 months my face relaxed so much that I looked as I did before surgery. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed since I was under the impression the results would last for several years. For the amount of money I spent, I felt the surgery should have been tighter so that the good effects would last longer.

When you consult with Dr. Zimbler and then proceed with surgery, you will be well-informed about the options and in the capable hands of a highly competent Plastic Surgeon who cares your personal health and well-being ... before, during, and after your surgery. Your privacy is SOP with this office (and it's immaculately clean). The office team will answer any question (large or small) in a timely manner and with compassion and keeps to schedule (a very big plus). In my case, I had minimal bruising and swelling post-surgery (following pre-surgery and post-surgery 'wound care' instructions). In the weeks post surgery, visible scars turned 'relatively' invisible sooner than I anticipated. And, Dr. Zimbler schedules follow-up visits, as needed.

Dr Zimbler is a master in his field! I did my research and went to other dr’s for a consult and in the end landed up having surgery with Dr Zimbler. He is a true artist, great bedside manner and confident in his work. So happy with results and it continues to get better! I highly recommend him to any woman seeking to have plastic surgery and look like they fell asleep for 10 years and woke up younger!!

Birthday Gift to Myself

After a rough year, (career and family-wise) I really felt like I looked awful - tired and old. I plan to continue in my professional pursuits for at least 5 more years and most of my co-workers are wayyy young. So, I felt like I needed a 'refresher'. With a trusted recommendation I chose Dr Marc Zimbler (NYC) and immediately knew I found the best doctor for me!

I have tried fillers and radio-frequency but the improvement was very limited. I went to Dr. Zimbler who clearly and thoroughly explained the procedure, possible risks and post-op recovery. He demonstrated, by pulling the skin of my face, of the possible outcome. The surgery was as expected and the first 24 hours I received excellent care by a privet duty nurse. In a week my healing process had started, with very little blacks and blues around my chin. In a couple of weeks I was back to normal life. The outcome was extremely natural.

I've heard Dr. Zimbler's name around town and when one of my close friends had her face done with Dr. Zimbler she looked amazing! I knew exactly where to go when I was finally ready to have mine done. Dr. Zimbler is so caring and kind. His work is masterful. He is so skilled at what he does and you don't feel like just another patient. He is a true artist. The entire office makes you feel special and part of the family. My lift is so natural its exactly what I wanted. My saggy neck is finally gone and no one can see any of the scars, even when I point them out. Thank you Dr Z!!!

After waiting 5 years to make the decision to pick up the phone to schedule a consultation for a face lift, I couldn't be happier with the results. Today I am one week postop. I am a 55 year old female who has always looked youthful. My neck was beginning to show it's age as well as very slight jowls. My upper eyelids had slight hooding. I have been contemplating this procedure and decided to have it done. My jawline definitely looks great, and my eyes still have steri strips so cannot get the total picture yet. I am severly bruised on sides of face and my neck looks like I am victim of strangulation. When I awoke from surgery it felt as though my lower jaw had been pushed back into my throat. I stayed across the street Manhattan Eye and Ear the first night with a private nurse. I have had moments of breaking down because I cannot believe what I did. My doctor is very good and has a great reputation. My biggest complaint is the fact that I cannot talk properly because of the tightness in my throat. If I don't put a big effort into talking, I sound like I have a lisp. I am disappointed in reading the amount of time that it takes to recover and feel normal again. I am such an active person and am hoping my down time will not take months. With these complaints being said, I can see that I will look better which is a good thing but can anyone give me encouragement who has had this terrible tightness after procedure. Updated on 14 Mar 2014: I just wanted to say that it is very important to keep suture line clean and moist while sutures are in place. I am a nurse and always stressed the importance of this after excisions and mohs surgeries. It definitely helps in minimizing scars! I have seen some postop photos and the suture lines are very crusty. Do not be afraid to clean as directed by your physician.
