I had facial fillers today with Dr Bawa. I first started discussing my treatment options with Dr Bawa a few weeks back at a very thorough consultation. Dr Bawa was very professional, caring and understanding of my concerns. In regards to the treatment it’s self, I had actually been putting it off as I was worried it was going to hurt. I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Dr Bawa is so gentle that all I felt was the odd scratch. What made the appointment for me was Dr Bawa’s caring approach, he talked me through what he was doing in a nice caring tone and checked repeatedly that I was okay throughout my treatment. Also knowing that Dr Bawa has a medical background and is also a GP also made me feel like I was in safe hands. I am so happy with the end result, my face looked younger and fresher straight away. A lovely man, a perfectionist and a gentleman all in one :)
Hi, thank you for your question, I can’t quite make out from the picture, however it does look somewhat bruised from the line between the nose to the lips. I would go to your doctor and ask Them to have a look at it. Usually with filler the results are instant, some fillers including Juvéderm Voluma get better over the next three months as they draw in more water. If you wanted to dissolve because you didn’t like it, I would probably probably let it settle down for 4 to 6 weeks, but I would certainly discuss this as soon as possible with your doctor.
Hi, great question, I am always happy to inform my patients of how many units of Botox they receive, and even write it down for them if they would like. I would certainly go back to your doctor and discuss this.
Dear brandibrianne, thank you for your question. If lumps were to be present, they are normally there from the day of treatment, however once the swelling goes down, that’s when patients notice them. I would certainly go back to your doctor and ask them to review it prior to any massage in yourself. Your doctor may be able to massage them whilst maintaining the shape in a safe way, or may have to dissolve some of the filler if required.
Hi Bvcxz, thank you for your question, from your photos, I think dermal filler would help, but I believe a thread lift may give you a better result. This would depend on your skin an how’s much movement there is when pulling it back, as you mentioned. I hope that helps!
Hi Kamasoutra, good question, and I can reassure you that the antibiotics will have no effect on your botox results at all.
