Hey! the good news is that there's no single correct approach here.
However - I would always recommend having 2 treatments within 30 days. you receive 2ml each time and therefore having a 4ml boost of hyaluronic acid within a month gives you a good amount of hyaluronic acid exposure. Bear in mind that the results can last up to 6 months anyway so ideally you dont need to repeat a session so soon, even if you are just having the 1 treatment only.
I also have patients who prefer the financial outlay of 1 step rather than 2 - and for those patients I recommend just waiting a few extra months before having both steps.
But it's a fantastic treatment whatever you will choose!

Thank you for your question - from the picture I can see the masseter region does contribute a fair amount to the shape of your face. 

I can more or less rule out the 'saggy' effect on your jawline as there is almost zero jowl formation. This makes me think there is some masseteric hypertrophy (oversized jaw clenching muscles) and to be honest you will really need to have a full assessment with a clinician/dentist to palpate the masseter muscles and confirm this.

You can have a general feel of the area near the angle of your lower jaw - if when clenching there is a large change in the size and feel of the muscles in this area you may have hypertrophic masseters. (these show a marked increase in size and muscle tone on clenching)

Jaw Botox will relax these muscles and the reduction of muscle tone over some time will allow the jaw muscles to return to a smaller size - this will give a favourable look aesthetically speaking also.

This procedure should be carried out by an experienced injector only.

I'm sorry you're experiencing some pain after your treatments. Whilst you may have to clarify what exact procedure you have had and which products were used - I would suggest going back to the doctor/clinician to assess why you have a pressure feeling so far away from the site that was treated. 

Depending on how the clinician was injecting - it may be that the temples were being held for injection stability - this can get bruised or become painful after the treatment day - it also causes a lot of pressure when chewing/clenching (under stress) as the temporalis muscle interacts with the area of redness. 

I hope for this to be the case as it would be the most simple explanation, however I would always recommend to think twice before injecting filler into the glabellar (frown lines) region as it is more high risk than other areas.

Hi there,

Firstly I'd say the result from your rhinoplasty was fantastic in the sense you have a lovely nose tip which is projected at a favourable angle. However I understand your concerns in relation to the height of the philtrum. Some things to consider:

- Although there is adequate volume in your lips some dermal filler in the central body of the lip in the right area will increase the lip height and reduce the height of the Philtrum to an extent. Adding some contour along the 'Cupid's bow' will also add to the effect. I would also recommend placing some filler in the lower lip to maintain your current lip ratio.

- Some dermal filler at the junction of the nasal septum should create a lovely transition from the nose to philtrum and whilst doing so will reduce/remove the crease that bothers you.

- Whilst it would be possible to reduce the height of the philtrum with these methods I would advise caution as your lips are not 'flat' and in reducing one issue you do not want to look 'over-treated' in the upper lip/philtrum areas (this can be a common giveaway to others)
