After many years of contemplating and 2 kids later, I decided to get my tummy tuck. The first week was a nightmare. I went through post-op “blues”, regret, pain. An emotional roller coaster to say the least. Now that I am 6 weeks post op I do feel my results so far have been promising. Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Please remember this surgery is VERY invasive. Like, literal Frankensteins wife. However, us women are so resilient (men too!), just be patient and very educated on healing and post op. DO NOT FORGET LYMPHATIC MASSAGES!! This is crucial for your healing!! This is not a walk in the park but please be patient. It’ll all be worth it. We all deserve to self love and self care. Good luck!
