Great doctor and very professional staff! Wonderful experience having my breast implants removed. I just wanted them removed without putting in new ones or doing a lift right now. Did not feel like they were trying to upsell me into doing more procedures.
Dr. Doucet and his staff were amazing! Super professional, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable with my surgeries. My recovery was fairly easy and they went above and beyond to make sure I was healing properly. I’m currently six weeks post op and can of believe my results. They are even better than I could have imagined. 100% recommend!
I am very pleased with my breast augmentation result! The center staff are absolute sweethearts—very kind and friendly. Dr. Doucet is extremely professional but I wouldn’t call him the most personable physician…yet his work was impeccable. Cons: I thought for sure I’d get a follow up call from the staff the next day after surgery but didn’t talk to them until my post-op appointment (I mean, even the vet calls after my dogs get shots!). And the surgical staff is pretty busy, so have all your questions ready for when you finally get to talk to them. All in all, I’d definitely recommend.
Dr. Doucet is an amazing doctor. He did a fantastic job on my tummy tuck. I’d highly recommend him. His staff is very helpful and extremely nice. My experience as a whole was great. Williamson Cosmetic Center is second to none!!
Very professional and I am happy with my results! Professionals staff. The office was very clean and they assisted me with everything I asked for or needed will definitely be going back for other things.
Dr. Doucet and his staff were so nice through out the whole process. They go over everything about the surgery that makes you feel so comfortable. I also had IPL and had a facial with Jen Davis and she did an amazing job. I feel great!
I had tissue disease 30 years ago and opted to have surgery to remove most of my tissue and reconstruction. Recently, I developed encapsulated implants that were very painful and rapidly getting worse. I had also suspected for years both were ruptured as well. I was so reluctant to have another breast surgery, but after my consultation with Dr Doucet I knew it was time and he was the perfect doctor. He and the staff at Williamson Cosmetic are so compassionate and kind. My surgery was a success and I’m so grateful for the care I was given. I highly recommend to anyone whether for medical reasons or just cosmetic.
I visited with Dr. Doucet after being nervous for years about having a Breast Augmentation. He explained the process from start to finish and I felt certain that he understood the outcome I was looking for. I'm so happy with my results!
From my co consult to the day of my surgery everyone at Williamson's has been nothing but professional and courteous. They strive to make sure your wants and needs are met. So far they have not disappointed. I am 5 weeks post op from my breast augmentation.
I decided to gift myself with a mommy makeover for my 4Oth birthday. I had a saline breast implant when I was 18 on one side due to symmetry issues. Overtime, my breasts had begun to sag and were no longer perky. I also have two children and had a pooch that was not going away, even with losing 25 lbs over the past two years. I was ready for some upgrades. I was very nervous as most other members have mentioned, choosing an elective procedure with two fairly young children. I set two consultations with two different surgeons and I felt most comfortable with Dr. Doucet and his staff at Williamson Cosmetic Center/Perenack Aesthetic Center in Baton Rouge, LA. I was a current client for botox and fillers with Dr. Jon Perenack as he focuses on cosmetic surgery of the face. I had heard he was one of the best cosmetic surgeons, so didn't mind driving from New Orleans. So, I decided to meet with his partner Dr. Doucet (specializes in plastic surgery/body) to discuss his thoughts for improving my breast and tummy area. I felt very confident with his answers to ALL of my questions and his work. I wanted to schedule the procedure quickly and they were accommodating. I was given detailed information with instructions for pre and post surgery. I felt completely prepared. They gave me special vitamins to start taking before my procedures. I am usually a bruiser and these vitamins claim to help with recovery, bruising and inflammation. Finally my surgery day came, all of the staff from Dr. Doucet, his nurse and anesthesia were very kind as I was nervous. My husband waited during my procedure. I was given some medicine to calm me down. I don't remember anything until I was waking up in the car as we approached our house back in New Orleans. My husband drove us home that same afternoon from Baton Rouge. My husband informed me that the surgery and recovery went very well. I was so glad that I did not experience any nausea nor did I have any recollection of the day's events, since early that morning as I walked into their OR. The meds he prescribed kept the pain very tolerable and minimal. I was pleasantly surprised. In comparison to my other consultation, Dr. Doucet uses a med called exparel (I think) which numbs the tummy tuck incision for days post op. My understanding in researching is that this numbing injection has helped revolutionize the modern tummy tuck. However, some more old school docs still use the old pain pumps for tummy procedures. It definitely kept the pain levels manageable. The hardest part of recovery was getting out of the bed (bending the stomach area) for occasional bathroom breaks, but it was a couple of seconds of pain. Overall it was completely manageable. They obviously know what they are doing over there. My drain was removed at my three day post op appointment and everything was healing nicely. I was shocked to see hardly any bruising, which I had observed in other members pics through other doctors. Im assuming Dr. Doucet's technique and the vitamins contributed to minimal bruising. I was starting to take one instead of two Percocets by Wed, which was three days post op. I stopped all meds by Sat and returned to work one week post op on the following Monday. I just went for my two week post op appointment yesterday, April 27th. Dr. Doucet removed the remaining steristrips and clipped the ends of a few stitches. It was not painful as the stitches are really internal with a few ends that are outside. I am so excited with the results. I never thought I would have the urge to make strangers look at my breast and my tummy, but I am so impressed with his work. I was hoping for improvement, but he exceeded my expectation of what I thought was realistically possible. The incisions are very clean and precise. I can now start using the scar gel and I feel confident that over time the incision scars will continue to become less and less noticeable. I was worried especially about the mini tummy tuck scar, since I had never had a C-section and had no scars. However, this incision was done with such skill that I much prefer the slight scar over the pooch that once exists. Thanking him seemed insufficient. I am feeling more confident and looking forward to turning 40. I will try to post a 2 week post op bikini pic later and again at 6 weeks.
Hello, thanks for your question. It is true that it is possible for a patient undergoing BA to lose sensitivity on one or both sides, but it is not related to the location of the incision(peri-areolar vs. infra-mammary). Fortunately, the chances of this occurring as a permanent problem are low. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in order to discuss your concerns.
Hello, thanks for your question. From your photos it would seem that you are a good candidate for breast reduction surgery. However, there are many other issues which could affect whether or not surgery is right for you. With respect to your weight, breast reduction results can be affected by post-op weight gain(or loss), and, so, it is a good idea to be at or close to your target weight prior to breast reduction. It would be best for you to see a board certified plastic surgeon in order to address these issues.
Hello, thanks for your question. The amount of tissue that is removed during breast reduction is variable and, obviously, affects the patients post-operative size. However, the greater the amount of tissue resected, the more likely it becomes that healing complications can occur. The change from E to B is great and may not be wise, given the facts above. In any case, it is best that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in order to discuss your concerns.
Dear Lbjane, Having an arm lift and mommy makeover(abdominoplasty/mastopexy)will result in a slight amount of weight loss, probably around 2-3 pounds depending upon which combination of procedures that you undergo. Arm lift procedures will usually result in tightening of the skin, although continued weight loss could affect this. It is generally best to be at a stable weight pre-operatively and to maintain it in the long term. Visit a board certified plastic surgeon in order to be evaluated and decide if treatment is right for you.
Dear Joyiieee, It is always best to be honest about your health/meds, etc...when visiting any physician. There could be ramifications regarding your treatment which might not be obvious at first glance. Most, if not all, physicians keep your information private and secure, and are obligated to have your consent in order to release that information. I would recommend that you see a board certified physician of your choice in order to decide whether treatment is right for you.
