Sculpsure is associated with discomfort and, ideally, patients should get into the fat destruction zone of discomfort including sensations like pinching, pressure or cramping. Sculpsure hand-pieces can be adjusted individually to provide relief in areas that seem more sensitive. Some patients do also form nodules (lumps) after the procedure which usually resolve with massage and increased fluid intake. It is unlikely that Sculpsure caused your appendix to rupture (burst) because the laser does not penetrate deep enough to affect the appendix. Best wishes.
SculpSure is a great option for people with small areas of stubborn fat especially the abdomen and flanks. Each treatment can get rid of up to 24% (average 18%) of fat. I always recommend at least 2 treatments, sometimes 3, per area for best results. It is also important to get into the fat destruction zone of discomfort during the procedure and to be diligent with fluid intake, massage, a healthy diet and exercise for best results. SculpSure is a fast, noninvasive option with no downtime. I recommend consulting with a specialist near you to determine if SculpSure is an option for you. Good luck in your journey!
Thank you for sharing your question. Sculpsure works very well for the flanks. For best results, it is recommended that your pain level should get into zone 4 which is the fat destruction zone and can feel like pinching, prickling or pressure. It is also suggested that two treatments are used for better results and to wait 12 weeks before assessing results. Hope this information helps you.
