My urologist stated the excess labia could be causing my frequent UTI. Luckily due to this the insurance covered the procedure at 100%. I'm more secure with the look as well now. The pain was minimal swelling was bad for about a week and results are great! If you are considering if this is right for you I would say to find a good surgeon and go for it. After two weeks the stitches came out and minimal pain after that no pain meds needed and occasional OTC Tylenol the second week. The decreased need for activity was probably the hardest part as well as avoiding sex for 12 weeks to ensure healing.
