I can't believe I'm finally doing this! It was easy to decide on scheduling surgery once I met Dr. Abbott and her team. I did not feel pressured and was provided with a lot of great information. Dr. Abbott was honest and patient with all my questions(which made me more confident in my decision to schedule surgery). I am so excited!

I DID IT! I was so nervous yesterday! Mainly I was concerned about being under general anesthesia(for the first time) and having a lot of pain post op. I am also notorious for being a goofball and saying crazy things when I drink too much. I was afraid I would be chanting "BBC" hahah! If you don't get the reference, check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tlRS6JCd_w.
Anyway :) My experience at Lees Summit Medical Center was great! All the pre and post op nurses were so attentive and caring. The anesthesiologist and CRNA took wonderful care of me. Dr. Abbott did a wonderful job--I'm not even in that much pain for having 375cc SRX(extra high profile) implants placed under my muscles.
I highly recommend Dr. Abbott and Lees Summit Medical Center! Because I slept so well last night, I'm not groggy and only taking the pain meds and muscle relaxers as needed. I feel so good, I may go get my nails done this afternoon :) PIECE OF CAKE recovery so far!

1 day PO pictures! I am super happy with the size. I am so glad I went with the 375 SRX. Please excuse my betadine stain on my chest/abdomen and the EKG leads stuck on my back :) I have NO brusing. I'll try my best to update once a week.

My muscles have felt so tight since surgery! I stopped my pain meds and muscle relaxers Saturday because they make my loopy and I want to be able to drive myself to work. My left side is already dropping a bit, but my right is still high and more swollen. I wish I could fast forward 4 weeks when everything is relaxed! ...guess I'll just have to be patient ????

I am breaking out so bad on my chest right now! Ugh! ???? I was told the surgical prep can do this and irritate sensitive skin. Everything else seems to be right on track. My plastic surgeon gave me some BioCorneum scar gel to try on my scars.

Loving my new boobs! They have taken a while to become softer and feel more like natural breasts. I am really happy with the size(Inspira 375 SRX)! Dr. Abbott said a larger size would be difficult to fit(so I wouldn't have gone larger) and I think they still look natural under my clothing. I am massaging Biocorneum scar gel on my incisions. My right incision is darker than my left, but I'm guessing that will fade with time. I am planning on buying new bras at the 3 month mark :) I also need to buy a new bikini ????
