Hello all! I have decided to take the plunge and start my story here after using the site for lots & lots of research over the last couple of months. I'm 37, 5"4 and around 130lbs. In the last 6 months I have lost almost 28lb and with it my bust :( I was before having kids (16 & 10) a very content 38d/dd however I am now a rather deflated 34c/36b. After going through a not so great break up early this year I've booked my next day surgery with Dr Visser at Wellness Kliniek Belgium in the hopes of getting not just my boobs back but also to make me feel more confident. It's kinda difficult only having having an online consult to say what size implants I want next week but I know I want high profile sub muscular and am thinking somewhere around the 400cc mark will be what I will be going for! (That could all change!!! Lol) I don't want to have huge boobs I just want back what I had! Updated on 1 Oct 2015: Feeling nervous and excited all at the same time! Consultation went as expected really. Decided on 485 cc HP unders, Dr Visser says this will give me around an e cup which I will be more than happy with. Bit annoyed with myself as I had bought a couple of post surgery bras but decided not to bring one as thought the ones from the clinic here would probably be better...but as I found out today that little error has cost me an extra €49 ???? The support bra here is no better than my £8 Asda one, so if anyone reads this buy one and bring it as you will save a little there! Am staying at the ECU hotel, which is rather nice but basic. It's right opposite Genk station and about a 5 minute walk to the wellness kliniek. I have booked 2 nights (just incase) but would ideally like to be on my way home tomorrow if I don't feel terrible and can change my Eurostar ticket. Anyway going to try to sleep now, i will get a couple of before pics to put on along with my after pics when I am able. Wish me luck!!! Updated on 2 Oct 2015: Just a little update, went into theatre around 9:30 and felt able to leave by midday. I'm not in too much discomfort just feel a bit achy. Not taken any pain meds as want to leave it until I feel the need for it. The staff at the wellness kliniek were all really lovely, their English is excellent so there is no issues with communication. And I was discharged with a comprehensive aftercare pack as well as being told what I need to do/not do. So far, so good! Will keep updating throughout my recovery and will add some pics when I am allowed to remove my support bra to shower tomorrow :) Updated on 5 Oct 2015: Updated on 6 Oct 2015: Just wanted to add some early pics. So far everything is going well, I'm happy with my results so far and feeling pretty good. I can't say I've actually been in any pain (perhaps I have a high pain threshold?) I've found it more than bearable and so only taken only 8 ibuprofen since the op! Obviously there is a little discomfort and it's frustrating not being able to do all I usually do. I had to go out to buy a bra yesterday as my 2 are both black and so I needed a white one....I had to get a 36F!! These pics were taken 3 days post op. Updated on 10 Oct 2015: Just a little update. 8 days post op and feeling great, recovery has been much easier than I anticipated, not been in pain at all! For anyone worried don't be I honestly only took ibuprofen for swelling not pain and I haven't had that the last 2 days. I've even been sleeping on my side the last 2 nights which surprised me! My right boob has settled in much quicker it's slightly lower and softer than the left, which feels like the muscle is contracted for a lot of the day although today it hasn't contracted as much. I have bought a breast band to try to help apply a little extra compression to see if that helps. I also bought a Macom bra which I have to say is far better than any of the others I have bought, I wish now if not let myself be put off by the price right from the start and just bought 2 as its since I got this my left boob has been a bit better behaved!!! Lol. Am really starting to like my new boobs and am looking forwards to getting my stitches out next week :) Updated on 21 Nov 2015: Hi all 7 weeks post op now and finally got myself out to get measured & do some bra shopping.... Was massively surprised to measure a 34ff, I swear they don't look that big, although other people say they do! Only trouble is there isn't as much choice as some shops don't even sell bras that size! Have refrained from spending too much yet as hoping to get some bargains in the Black Friday /pre cams sales so thought I best know my size save the messing around when I do! Overall I feel good, although my left hasn't dropped quite as much as my right and is still much more solid feeling. Trying not to worry too much as was told it can take up to 6 months for them to settle fully and its normal for one to do so sooner than the other. I'm hoping to get back to my pre op pole fitness level ASAP as I feel really weak bit thinking I will have a try this coming week when I'm 8 weeks, I was told I should be able to get back to it at 6 weeks but didn't feel ready despite missing my usual gym/pole sessions I figured it best to heal fully and go back rather than rush and end up hurting myself (esp as its mainly upper body work!) Incision scars are doing nicely, massaging with coconut oil at least once a day. Will get some pics added soon! Hope all the other October girls are recovering well :) [RS bleep]
"Full Tummy Tuck, Muscle repair, (tightening) liposuction, Breast Augmentation I want to share my near fatal surgical experience at the Wellness Kliniek in Genk, Belgium in May 2017. During my routine tummy tuck, liposuction and breast augmentation the surgeon cut the inferior epigastric artery as well as the internal mammarian artery that left me bleeding severely internally. During my recovery my blood pressure crashed dangerously low and I was sent by ambulance to the local hospital emergency room where I underwent very painful emergency surgery, due to suspicion of hypovolemic shock. A doctor performed a CT angiography to to stop the bleeding and quite literally save my life! I spent 5 days in hospital, and 3 days in intensive care and received a total of 6 units of blood. Had I not been very physically fit and healthy I would most certainly be dead! During my hospital stay my belly button became detached and I had to have a 2nd surgery under general anaesthesia to reattach it and I developed a severe ugly hematoma and a major abdominal infection. After these tragic events I have received absolutely zero support or assistance from the clinic, they simply ignored me and would not even return my phone calls or emails and to make matters worse the clinic are now insisting I pay the 6,000 Euro hospital emergency room bill in addition to my original 10,000 Euro surgery costs and the extra expenses incurred. In addition to my extreme emotional stress I have been left with a severely compromised surgery and the clinic couldn’t care less. I will now need expensive revision surgery to correct the damage sustained during surgery and in the hospital ER. I would never again trust my precious health to this surgeon or any other at the Wellness Kliniek in Genk, Belgium. My breast augmentation gave me the fullness I wanted, however my breasts look and feel very unnatural and have visible ripples in the implants. I feel horrible disfigured and nearly paid for these disappointing results with my life. I want to warn other people to absolutely NOT use this clinic under ANY circumstances whatsoever! I do not want the awful nightmare that happened to me to happen to anyone else." I am happy to discuss the details of my ordeal or answer whatever questions you may have.
Defo a 'Dog' Dr....ie,rough, heavy handed, thumping around and barking at you...not a 'cat' Dr...lack of finesse, gentleness, agility or lighthandedness. If it's your first time going under the knife....find some one else...Had a mini face lift and corrective upper eyelid surgery. Man handled and barked at.
following a lipolastie performed by the surgeon Linda VISSER 28-06-2018 whose result I liked very much. I think it's a very good surgeon for me it was a success, I'm really happy and I wanted to say thank you
Hi, It's been six weeks since I've had surgery. I've followed all instructions (no sport, sexual activities, tampons...). The labia on my left side seems to be healing in two pieces, as if the upper part was never attached to the bottom part. My second concern is the hole on the left side, between small and big labia. It doesn't look like it will heal together. Should I be concerned? Also, the stitches didn't fall out yet, I was told that they'll fall out, that I don't need stitches removal. Thank you!
