Is it safe if someone were to become pregnant after having sculpsure or cool sculpting?

Some people do start seeing results in as little as 6 weeks, but not all. &nbsp;Also, it's very difficult to see your own results. &nbsp;Be sure you follow up with your 6- and 12-week photos so you have an objective before/after. &nbsp;Some individuals may need more than one treatment to meet their goals. &nbsp;Give it the full 12 weeks - your body needs that long to fully complete the process. &nbsp;

I had undergone 1 sesssion of Sculpsure on lower abs on 3/20 and has been about 7 weeks and not seeing much difference. I workout 4 days/week at orange theory and run on the weekends. My diet is healthy too. I'm 5'0 108 lbs with 25 inch waist. I've heard you can start seeing results in 6 weeks. Is this normal?

Five weeks is a bit soon to see results. &nbsp;Give it at least 6-8 weeks before deciding if the procedure was successful. &nbsp;However, I find most of my patients do not see their results, but when we do photos - they are quite surprised by what they see. &nbsp;Give it more time and be sure to go to your 6-week 'after' photos so you get a truly objective idea of the results. &nbsp;Some people will need a second treatment to meet their goals. &nbsp;Take care!

I see no visible results from Sculpsure on my belly after five weeks. Is it worth it to get a second treatment on the sixth week? When do patients usually see results?

Hi amy schaefer - I have had patients that experienced prolonged nodules and tenderness. &nbsp;They all eventually went away. &nbsp;However, I did suggest more fluid intake (caffeinated beverages do not count)&nbsp;and considering a lymphatic massage (as special kind of massage) which has helped some of my patients with this. &nbsp;As for your daily massaging, I found personally (after my 2 treatments), I was best served with multiple massages daily and I would massage the areas while stopped in traffic. &nbsp;For some reason, this fit better into my schedule and I could do it much more this way. &nbsp;Best of luck to you!

I drink 120 oz of water a day. My nurse practitioner just felt the nodules and said it is normal. By the way, she did the procedure on me. I did it at the highest setting. I had pain afterwards for three weeks. I was not able to lift my legs and there was pain when I had to engage my abs. I'm at a loss now, what do I do ????I massage 3 times a day. It has not gotten any better. I mentioned this to my internist, but she never heard of the procedure. Ugh

I had the sculpt procedure done 12 weeks ago on my stomach. I have 4 large nodules on my stomach. I massage. What do I do now?

Hi NYCgirl20 - typically, tenderness and swelling lasts no more than several days. &nbsp;However, I have had patients who complained for a couple of weeks before it went away. &nbsp;As others have said - lots of fluids and lots of massage. &nbsp;One thing I did when having my abdomen done was to massage every time I was at a stop light in traffic. &nbsp;I also suggest my patients look into having a lymphatic massage (a special type of massage) that can help with this. &nbsp;Best of luck to you!

I had the sculpsure done on sat, 2/11/17 just on U/L abs. I am swollen and a little tender. The swollen part bothers me since I know this happens only to a few people. How long does swelling typically last for? Is there something I can do to help reduce it? Also, how long does tenderness last for? I have something coming up a few weeks and I don't want to be big and puffy. I'm drinking a lot more water and massaging twice a day. Any advice would help! Thanks!

Hi mghazi11 - based on your photos, SculpSure may be an excellent choice for you. &nbsp;However, the best thing you can do (so you can make the best decision possible) is consult with a few clinicians and get all the information you can. &nbsp;Only with all the information can you make a decision that is best for you. &nbsp;Outline your goals and expectations specifically to each clinician then decide. &nbsp;You'll then be able to better weight risks/benefits and do a cost analysis of each procedure. &nbsp;Best of luck!

I am 5"2 and 117lbs with some stubborn fat around my flanks and lower abdomen. I work out twice a week, but this area just isn't budging for me. I haven't heard much about sculpsure, and I was wondering if I would be a good candidate. Or would liposuction of this area be better? I don't want to do coolsculpt, because of all of the treatments involved. I would greatly appreciate any input you may have.

Hi Marah1989 - While both methods may work to reduce the amount of fatty deposit you have in the area, you should meet with several clinicians to really get a good grasp of what your goals are. &nbsp;Will you be happen with fat removal, but skin that sags a bit? &nbsp;If so - non-invasive means may be worth a try. &nbsp;But if you are wanting more optimal results than that, other options may be worth considering. &nbsp;It's a lot of money to spend, so&nbsp;make certain you seek expert opinion and you have your goals and exceptions clearly outlined. &nbsp;The clinician will then be able to make recommendations for you. &nbsp;Best of luck!

So I've been researching on Sculpsure and states it can remove about 24% of stubborn fat on average. Ok so let me get this straight, let's say (for the purpose of this argument) patient A has 10 inches of fat on his belly and got sculpsured, theoretically he would lose about 2.5 inches. What if patient B had 1 inch of fat, would he only lose a quarter (0.25) of an inch? Thanks in advance!

Does it matter when you have more or less stubborn fat on area wanting to be treated by Sculpsure?

The number of treatments depends on several things, but most importantly, it depends on your goals. &nbsp;The average reduction is 24% - average. &nbsp;I've had people achieve less, and I've had people achieve more. &nbsp;There is no guarantee how you will respond, but we usually see good response rates. &nbsp;The most important thing is to be on the same page as your clinician with regards to expectations. &nbsp;If you already know that the average 24% reduction won't meet your goals - then you already know you'll need/want at least 2 treatments. &nbsp;Find a good clinician who sits and discusses YOUR goals and your expectations. &nbsp;He/She should be able to give you a good estimate of treatment number based on the outcome you are hoping for. &nbsp;
