I had two sessions and total of 11 treatment areas (lasers) of SculpSure treatment over the summer to my lower abdomen and inner thighs. I cannot believe the before and after photos. For something that takes such little time and no significant changes to what I was already doing, I am impressed and very happy with the outcome.
Dr Hodges was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The office visits were private and comfortable. What I learned from the doctor's education is priceless. I had success with weight loss and now have the knowledge needed to maintain a healthier lifetime weight.
Hi kat2008 - Having becoming pregnant after you've had SculpSure done is perfectly fine! If this has happened, congrats on your pregnancy!
Hi cathykhuang - Some people do start seeing results in as little as 6 weeks, but not all. Also, it's very difficult to see your own results. Be sure you follow up with your 6- and 12-week photos so you have an objective before/after. Some individuals may need more than one treatment to meet their goals. Give it the full 12 weeks - your body needs that long to fully complete the process.
Hi makes - Five weeks is a bit soon to see results. Give it at least 6-8 weeks before deciding if the procedure was successful. However, I find most of my patients do not see their results, but when we do photos - they are quite surprised by what they see. Give it more time and be sure to go to your 6-week 'after' photos so you get a truly objective idea of the results. Some people will need a second treatment to meet their goals. Take care!
Hi amy schaefer - I have had patients that experienced prolonged nodules and tenderness. They all eventually went away. However, I did suggest more fluid intake (caffeinated beverages do not count) and considering a lymphatic massage (as special kind of massage) which has helped some of my patients with this. As for your daily massaging, I found personally (after my 2 treatments), I was best served with multiple massages daily and I would massage the areas while stopped in traffic. For some reason, this fit better into my schedule and I could do it much more this way. Best of luck to you!
Hi NYCgirl20 - typically, tenderness and swelling lasts no more than several days. However, I have had patients who complained for a couple of weeks before it went away. As others have said - lots of fluids and lots of massage. One thing I did when having my abdomen done was to massage every time I was at a stop light in traffic. I also suggest my patients look into having a lymphatic massage (a special type of massage) that can help with this. Best of luck to you!
