Most of my life I have had breasts that were too large for my frame. They were an embarrassment to me and they also were causing bad posture, back pain, neck pain, rashes underneath my breasts and divots in my shoulders. I always dreamed of a breast reduction, but just figured that's all it was, a dream. My mother encouraged me to call for a consultation. She said, "It doesn't hurt to look into it. Go see Dr. Lawrence Enisman and see what he has to say". So I did just that. Dr. Enisman was warm, kind and informative. He explained everything to me and encouraged me to start the process of getting my insurance to pay for the procedure. I did just as he instructed, and within 1 week, and help from his wonderful staff i had my authorization. My appt for surgery was made for April 7th, 2015. The day of my surgery was both exciting and scary, but everyone at the hospital was warm and caring. Dr. Enisman sat by my side until I fell asleep. He made me feel safe and cared for as did the whole OR staff. When I woke up I remember Dr. Enisman sitting by my side. I highly recommend Dr. Enisman as a plastic surgeon. Not only is he an extremely talented surgeon, but his bedside manner is wonderful. I am very happy with my results. Thank you Dr. Enisman!!!
I had the means to have Any plastic surgeon I wanted, wherever their office happened to be. After doing all my homework, I was happy to see that The Best of The Best was Dr. Enisman. He could have a super successful practice in any major city , but he chooses to live in the Hudson Valley. He is professional, on top of the latest techniques, and runs a tight ship. Having breast cancer was crappy, but having these Amazing breasts from Dr. Enisman made the whole adventure fun in the end. I trust him.
I have gone to the RealSelf boards over and over for support, so now it's my turn! Ten days ago I had Juvederm injected in to my vermillion to treat vertical lip lines. I walked out with duck lips and was completely freaked out. After 48 hours the immediate swelling had gone down to the point that I felt like I could stop hiding from the general public. However, I was certain that anyone who knew me well would spot it immediately, so I continued to not make eye contact and "hide" as much as possible. Every time I caught a glance of myself in the mirror my heart would sink ... what had I done?! It wasn't completely different , but it was just enough that I clearly looked like I had "work" done. Any day now, a bold someone would ask the dreaded question. For the next week, I went back and forth about going back to the doctor to see if he could undo the mess I had created for myself. I am so glad I didn't because 10 days out I can honestly say I look like me (only better) and I can look people in the eye again! While my lips look fuller and the vertical lines are gone, I don't look like I had "something done". So hold tight! Don't despair! Claim you have a cold sore, you bit your lip or make up some other bull$hit story. A little over a week later, you will not have that sinking feeling any longer and be proud of your decision. Cheer up, I was where you are and I PROMISE it will get better. :)
I have had a scar underneath my eyebrow for years, and it has always bothered me. I tried scar removal gels and silicone, got chemical peels, etc. but none of them gave good results so I finally decided to just get scar revision done, I got a surgical excision of the area and then the doctor closed it with stitches which I will be getting out next week. Right now I still have tape over the area but I am hoping and praying for a good outcome :) Updated on 18 Sep 2016: Fourth day of stitches.. Updated on 19 Sep 2016: The picture is right after I got my stitches out. It got irritated for a little but went back to down now. Time to watch the healing process... Updated on 20 Sep 2016: Exactly one week has passed and the results look promising so far. Updated on 3 Oct 2016: Still a little pink and hard at the sight but slowly fading:)
It appears from your photo that your breasts look normal and should function normally if you decide to breast feed. A small to moderate sub-muscular breast augmentation with give you more fullness but may not bring your breasts closer together. Larger implants tend to look less natural.
It does appear that the right breast implant is lower and has stretched out the skin below your scar. After 6 months, the revision can be done at any time. The left breast looks good and, in my opinion, does not need revision.
Although I do not have any measurements of your breast width, your photo indicates a somewhat narrow chest wall. If you want to look natural, I would suggest getting an implant that fits your dimensions rather than focusing on the end volume. Please keep in mind that even though you would like the lower portion of your breasts fuller, a 500cc implant is also going to make the upper portion of your breast fuller. Discuss all your options with your plastic surgeon before surgery.
Although your frame can accomodate the 450cc implants, I am concerned that your young tight skin may not. If you want to look natural, I would suggest less volume and would advise that you not be too concerned with actural number, rather the expected outcome and appearance.
At 23 you have healthy tight skin and muscle which could take 3-6 months to stretch and relax to accommodate a 330cc implant. They should settle over time and look more natural.
